What's safe grease on plastic , vinyl??
What kind of grease should I use on plastic, vinyl or painted area? Is petroleum jelly a such thing? Where can I get it?

Like, fuel filler door hinges(painted), vent clips(metal & plastic), vent door controller (all plastic, the one you rotate right and left to open and shut air flow) to remedy rattle noise.

white lithium grease is fine. It's messy though. Use sparingly.
