you think that performace parts for a porsche or an nsx are cheap you have the wrong idea. an r32 is only 20-30k here in the us and you dont have to have dual airbags becuase of the year. with the r33 and the r34 you have to have us safety spec aigbags installed and it is a timley and coastly process. skyline parts are expensive but there are more and more of them in the states every year and you can get your hands on just about any part if you try. im not saying that the parts are cheap just that if i had the cash to drop on a car thats what i would go with. and s2000 are a dime a dozen.

You are asking for headaches with a Skyline. Not many people Stateside know how to work on them/fix them.

I mean what exactly are you looking for?

Speed? Gotta go with detroit muscle... cheapest initial purchase, and cheapest to mod
Looks? Gotta go convertable
etc...
etc...

wut ever u buy.. do NOT buy 01 M3... if u want a M3 go get a late 02 or 03... 01 E46 M3 got alot of problems... especially ur going to buy a used one...

evilone, never implied that. i was thinking stock. but i guess if i'd mod, anything i'd take would be a dime in a dozen. only rare 30~k modable car we've mentioned is an R32 (VW). I'd go with either the S2000 or 350Z (new) or Supra or RX-7 used.
