What do you think this is worth?
I posted this on eBay yesterday: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMESE%3AIT
I recently acquired an existing business that had all sorts of car crap laying around in one of the storage rooms. This was hanging by the entrance, and it was only a matter of time before I got sick of it and needed to feel like i'm working in the 21st century. I didn't expect to get much response from it, but someone asked me how much I would take if he just purchased it. Another dude has a continental kit selling also on eBay, but I don't think he got any bites, but in his auction said he would take $400 for it shipped. Anyone know how much I should take for it?
[cough] <CLPOWER> ???

Even tho' I have no clue what the item is worth, I'd let the auction ride
Only offers you'll get are from people who know what it's worth (and are trying to rip you off).
You picked the right forum (ebay) to sell an item like that... Let the market decide the price..
You could tell people who ask, that you'll take $400 plus shipping and just let them bid

No clue, but i've seen continental kits go for over a grand on old lincolns. I'd say since you don't want it, if you got $200-300 for it that'd be a good price. how long has it been up for? It's already at $60? Good job, I bet that thing gets a good run. You may want to check Hemmings Motor magazine to get an idea what other kits sell for.

I put it on yesterday at a starting bid of $39.99...
I have some other things...I had a set of roof rack/ski racks for an ML320, looking around online to verify the years, found a thread on another message board from people looking for the roof rack, emailed a few people, told them to make me an offer, last reply via E-mail I got was for $120 plus shipping, not a bad price...1 less thing for me to put on ebay...Speaking of which, CLPOWER, I have T-Tops for a 70's 'Vette, know anyone looking for a pair?

I put this on too, someone offered me $100 if I ended the auction now...I don't have any bids on it yet, but there are 5 people watching the auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...DME:B:AAQ:US:1
Also, someone else left me a message on the Continental Kit, asking what I would suggest as a "Buy It Now" for cash pickup. I responded to them to make me an offer. FYI, 24 watchers on this bad boy..
Lastly, someone asked me if I would ship this to Puerto Rico...I have to check into that for them..(7 people watching this):

I forgot how much "fun" eBay can be...I still have a few more things I want to put on, I'll try to put the rest of them on Monday..

Ed, looks like you got a bunch of random car parts... It's kinda interesting to see what you'll dig out next
I often wonder what kinda stuff people have buried in their garages that came of of vehicles they no longer own... I had to find some stuff that was missing off my vw camper, but I know one of the prior owners has it in their garages

Thanks... I also sold the VW roof rack for $83, and I sold a BMW E36 wind screen for $235..I definately did not expect to get that much for the wind screen. I sold a MB ML roof rack off of ebay to someone I found in the benzworld forums too. I still have those '70's vette T-tops, a MB CLK 'vert wind screen, MB cd changer and a couple of owners manuals to get rid of.
