what car should i get

last week a 05 bmw 5 series hits me on my side. almost knocks my front passenger wheel out and leaving my whole front axle pretty messed up. my pass. door wont open now. lotta ohter stuff.

insurance will pay for a rental. what should i choose. can somoene tell me some good cars that are within a reasonable rate that i can drive around without looking too lame. i dont want a porsche or anything nor do i believe the insurance comapny would pay for that, but no pinto either. thanks

If you could get a Pinto, that would rule... They are becoming quite collectable now. Alot of the 4spd coupes were turned into formula 4 (cyl) dirt track racers in the 80's and 90's so they aren't that many around any more...

They may have a cap on the total rental cost per day. Altima would be my choice of rentals.

Well at the age of 18, most rental companies wont even look at you to rent a car....never mind a luxury

I don't know where you come from, but that's a lot of money to me.

At 18 you'll be lucky to get a Dodge Neon.

I rented a Dodge Magnum a few weeks ago... it looked cool but was really long.

I think a Neon, etc. is fine.. who cares! Its just a temp!

hey im 16, and they give me loaners (acura integras) at the dealership. They almost rented me an 04 escape from enterrise for the weekend, but after realizing i was 16, they gave me the loaner. Said that u had to be 18 to rent a car.

but on the topic: dude why does it even matter. I would be just as happy driving some shitbox; just to learn to aprreciate my Tl more and more. Its just temporary - i doubt you gonna be able to get a vr6 or gti. You could try for a mustang - the ones that are in rental fleets.
