As far as I know they didn't kill the CTS coupe, they just delayed its debut. MT just had a big article on it and the CTS wagon in this month's issue.

As I have totally ruled out leasing my next ride and have curtailed how much I am willing to spend for a car in general, there are probably few 'on the horizon' cars pricing at $20k or less that I can be excited about. That said, there's plenty on the preowned market to check out.
