I test drove one a while back and although they do sound good they are just feel so heavy while driving it. Sure the V also feels heavy but it has power to move that weight and the RC-F just doesn't.

By the way, the Stainless Works/intake sounded much better than the Kooks with HF cats.

Plus as much as they say they've improved the engine.. it seems like it's mostly marketing. The car looks great and the interior is sex, but it's not a leap above the IS-F IMO.

LOL, welcome to the club. That's why I got the exhaust I got...no drone. After all of those years of the TL droning, I wanted silence just cruising around (at least in something that I would drive everyday).

Yes the interior is one of the best things I have been in. The seats oh those seats are just beyond amazing. But yes an entire new engine or a much bigger upgrade should have been in store. The front end and interior are my favorite parts.

But, I think you made the right choice with the Vagon.

That would also put the price considerably up as well with a new optional engine if it happens. With the price already above 70k well optioned it would push the car easily into the 80k range I would assume.
I am very happy with the Vagon. It has filled the utility I needed without sacrificing much else at all.

The engine would remain the V8, but due to Lexus going with turbos, they speculate they would make the jump to twin turboing the V8. But again, big rumors of something a few years out given the other models ahead. Wouldn't hold my breath, though. :P

That V8 power. Three V8s NA, Supercharge, and Twin Turbo.

Holy shit would be the initial impression performance wise. You think the V is fast that thing is just an entire different level. Even though the 0-60 is not that much different with the AWD it just makes launch feel faster to me. The interior is amazing. I absolutely love it. The car is like an executive sports car sedan. I unfortunately did not get much seat time in it just yet. Just to the golf course and back when we played this morning and half of that was in traffic. Hopefully when I go home for the holidays next month I will get a bit more seat time and can do some extended driving on back roads with it.

Well a sad day today. The ISF is on its way to a new home. It is with a friend though so I will get to see it and occasionally drive it. I had many good times in that car and would have loved to keep it. It just drove and handled so well.
Loaded her up last night and she left this morning.
She will be missed but never forgotten.

IS-F. That's how I'm going to feel seeing my S2k for the last time in a few days (if deal works out).
BTW, good to see you are using your wagon properly: as a wagon.

If you getting rid of s2kk, which I never thought you would; does that mean you are looking for an NSX?

I agree bob needs a major thread update. I will plan to follow the bob path I guess cause my dream car down the road is to own a 97-00 NSX. So show us more bob. That sounds like something from The Price is Right.

I am already giving blow by blows in the NSX section. Please continue there as I don't want to hijack wagon stuff.

So I just bought some used snow tires on the forums. Now I need to figure out what kind of wheels I want to put on them. I don't drive the car in the cold or snow often but I do go home for Christmas for about 10 days in PA and then an annual ski trip so I have to have something. Since I use them for less than a month a year I don't plan to spend much which is why I typically try and get something used or cheap.
Here are some of the wheels I am looking at. I am open to other options but they must be 19s and under $200 per wheel.
Bremmerkraft BR10
Here they are on a sedan.
Drag DR-37
Voxx Asti
ASA GT8
Avarus AV12
I would love to find something that fits flush like I had for the IS-F but I don't know enough about the fitment on the CTS-V yet to pull that off most likely. I also ran staggered snow tires on that and just bought a set of symmetrical tires.

^ The first ones don't look bad on that sedan.

The Drag DR37s look great. Or the ASA wheels.

These were my initial first choice.
These are the initial second choice.
Ahh come on they are not that bad are they?
Well I never actually ended up ordered the spare with all the issues with Discount tire at the time. Not sure what I am going to do about that now. I did buy a really good plug kit of tools to go along with the cheap one I already had.
The Bremmerkraft BR10 would give me a bit a contrast look compared to what I have now and the Drag-DR37 would close to the same look with a different style wheel as a have now with being blacked out.
Shipped to door prices
Bremmerkraft $830.64
Drag-DR37 $670
Discount tire says the Drag should fit but it has a 30mm offset. Any of you CTS-V guys know if that will work?
