Well...the S2000 needed more doors, more driven wheels, and a lot more torque...

Ordered the CF camera covers with a labor day sale deal. Decided to not overdo the CF thing and went without the mirror caps and handle pulls but adding a couple accents here and there should be cool. Got the matte version to match the factory spoiler in the back.

Seriously thinking about parting ways with the Jeep... I haven't driven it all that much this summer and with the baby, it's tough to plan long road trips with it anymore. We were supposed to go back to Moab this weekend and do a big road trip but there's no way the kiddo is going to handle 20+ hours in a car without having numerous meltdowns as she's too little at this point. Bonus points right now are that values are WAY up. I can probably get $5k more than I bought it for pretty easily. Downside is that I really do like the thing and it's paid for (always has been) along with being cheap to insure. I'm not sure if/when we'll be able to pick things back up with the travels but probably not for a while. I feel that the Jeep is pretty replaceable too and I can get into a newer JL or JT in the future anyway.
Thoughts?

Get it gone, especially since you can pocket some cash. Maybe you can pick up an exhaust or intake for the Tesla with that money.

I already put an exhaust and intake on the Tesla...didn't sound any different though. Feel like I got ripped off. Jiffy Lube also changed the oil on it for me.

I heard that I/H/E requires a tune on those, so maybe that's the issue?

It's not sold in my mind mostly because I don't know what I'd replace it with. Any car I want is, for now, ludicrously priced and I don't want to overpay for something only to have it come back to earth a few months from now.
I might put it up for sale for a high price and see if someone takes it. If it sells, it sells and I'll be ok with that. If it doesn't sell then I'm happy to keep it.

you didnt say one good thing about keeping it.
well, okay...you said you really love the thing. but thats it.
but then countered with..."i could get a newer JT JL in the future."

This is even more reason to sell it. Used prices are sky high. It's not your only car, it's just a toy. Ditch it and pocket some cash, wait for used prices to come back to reality, and then get a new toy.

Only downside is 13mpg but don't care about that because my daily is infinity mpg. The other downside is that it sucks balls to lift a now toddler into a car seat that's inside of a lifted Jeep lol. I'm not tall and basically have to lift her to chest height just to get her into the seat.

Doesn't sound like you NEED the Jeep as far as vehicles are concerned. And if you can actually make money on the deal...do it.

I can tell you're actually stacked in the direction of talking yourself into keeping it.
The car market is what it is and will probably stay there...money now or money later doesn't matter...
your kid will get older and be able to climb in herself...and you're still going through puberty and will
likely get tall enough to put her in her car seat without a problem soon enough.
Selling it would be a permanent solution to a temporary and minute problem.

Selling the Heep would be the first step to responsible 4Runner ownership.

List high & sell.
Upgrade to a JLU 4xe when the tyke is a bit older & the market stabilizes a bit. By then Broncos should be everywhere & JLUs will be cheap.

That is almost as many gas stations, pretty cool.
So for that trip, the answer is it's fine as you can charge all over the place. How much is a charge at those locations?
Invasion, a new Apple TV series has a scene where they are trying to escape N.Y. and go to charge their Tesla and have an altercation with an asshole.
They end up ditching the Tesla and stealing a Volvo.
