Well... finally bit the bullet...
Just closed the deal less than an hour ago. Traded in my 01 NPB CL Type S w/Navi, wing for an 08 G37S Coupe
I would post pix but you've all seen a stock G... It silver with light grey interior w/ the aluminum trim, premium package.
I never thought I'd buy a non-Honda, or a non-black car, but I've been wanting a G ride since I first saw one last year. I got a killer deal too! The car only has 1500 miles on it, so it's new.
Now the bad news. I was backing out of my driveway and bumped my neighbor's visitor's Corolla
. They freakin' parked a little off center of my driveway. Nothing wrong with their car, but I already need to repair an uuugly scratch on rear my bumper
I'm more mad at myself than anything.
Anyway, just thought I'd share.

Congrats! I had a 06 G35 coupe a couple of years ago; mine was silver too. Awesome ride; the most fun car i've ever had. I'm sure the G37 is even better. Was kind of sad when I had to turn it back in at the end of the lease as it was the most fun car I've ever had. I'm comtemplating getting another one, but I just paid of my TL a few months ago, and loving not having to pay a car note and may just end up getting a bike. Post pics!!!!
Also, your first few scratches/dings on a new car will drive you
no matter how small. I was the same way about my cars when I first got them, it was almost an obsession. I'm still like that, but unless the scratch ding is really bad, I usually can live with it now.

I hear ya on the no car note thing. The CL was paid off for over 3 years... That's why I said "bit the bullet"

Congrats! As I am planning on getting back on my feet I am continually shopping for my future car, even though I had a 07 G35x and wasn't totally in love with it, I think a lot of my complaints have been answered with the G37. Shopping in that market, the infiniti just keeps getting better and better while not climbing drastically in price.

I really would like a set of staggered wheels
I'm still trying to get the wife "fully" on board with the purchase
. She's 95% there. If I get wheels now I'll have to sleep on the couch
Maybe next year. For now I gotta get that freakin' scratch repaired.
