I hope acura realizes no one like the grill and re-designs the grill for 2010 and then the TSX would be perfect.

Just got back from a test drive. First we have a 2006 TSX.
The features are nice and the interior looks very upscale. The sales man also claimed that the TSX is faster than a 335i
The 09 does feel slower than our 06 TSX. To be honest its like our TSX in a new shell. Handling, Braking, Accelaration, and ride (09 maybe a lil better) are pretty much the same.
My test drive was 15 miles long so I tested out the brakes as well as the sports shift pretty well.
The sounds systems was really good though. The one I drove had the tech pack and a sticker price of 34k
Hands down I prefer our 06 TSX over the new one, and the price creeping towards a TL, why not just get the TL.

The car needs the same treatment the 03 CL type S got over the 02.....
a color matched grill. It will take all the sin away.

I just don't know what everyone's problem with the grille is. It looks good on the TSX. Not so on the RL. But it flows with the TSX's design very well.
Yes it stands out but I think that's what the designers wanted. Like the MDX grille, I like the TSX's grille too.

The blue car pictured here has the "sport pack" front and rear bumpers, and 19" RDX wheels. Bigger wheels really fill out the package nicely. I believe the "sport pack" items take the place of A-spec body add ons. They replace the entire front and rear bumper covers, instead of tacking on extra body parts.
Engine photo hints at the large engine bay, clearly big enough to fit a V-6.
The 4-cyl pictured is a K24Z3, which also comes in the '08 Accord. That means it has its exhaust manifold integrated into the cylinder head,
so forget about buying a custom header for this car. Sorry gang......
Grey car is stock. More pics later.

^That blue one looks good
Built one on-line today. It didn't look too bad.
I'm heading to the dealership on Wednesday for service.
I think I might take one for a spin, just for the heck of it. I hope they have a 6spd

So i went to the Acura dealer today with a friend whos buying a TL-S. They had the new TSX there.
Wow the new one is much bigger, almost as long as the TL is. The sales guy said it feels exactly like the old TSX in driving. I didnt care to drive it after he said that, i did start it and it did sound exactly like my moms 07 TSX. The grill sucks, lets get that out of the way. But honestly, the car is pretty hot with the sharp edges in the body lines and bumpers. The old one looks pretty bland next to it.
Interior is pretty nice, i LOVE buttons and this new tsx has tons of it. Much better in person than in pictures. It does look confusing with so much going on, but i liked it.
Surprisingly the sales guy knew a lot about the current models and also about the new ones. He agrees that Acura has no clue what they doing since the new TSX feels more like a face lift than a redesign. He also bitched that the interior is almost the same as the Accords. He says they had a huge meeting about future models and the TSX will for sure get the V6 and a diesel. Made no sense to him since it will cut into TL sales. He also said the RL will get a V8.
The funniest part of the convo is what he said about the TSX's pricing. They already discounting the new ones 1k off sticker. Sold two today. He then told me to look on Edmunds and see what their 09 TSX true market value price is.
Sticker $32,775
TMW: $31,182
Dang, thats not good since they JUST hit the dealers!!

Suzuka Master
I could deal with the design but what I can't forgive is the essentially untouched powertrain that is currently offered. Hopefully the V6 takes care of this.
Weirdly, I never thought or felt that it was awkward with the MDX, it almost blended in with the design unlike the TSX and RL.

Underpowered, under styled with no RWD or v6 in the TSX and the RL needs a v8.

I am excited about the TSX, and I still think it looks great. To be honest, I am not so excited about the new RL in fact, I was dissapointed when I saw one.
I am taking the new TSX out to a car show this morning, hopefully I will get some positive feedbacks from people I meet.
MSRP for the tech package is 32,775. Without tech is 3100 less.

I can't believe we are letting the dealerships to spam us like this. Moderators, anything you can do ?

She was warned not to try and make a sale or advertise the dealer.
Hasn't been back since that asinine supercharger/coupe comment anyway.
