Wanted a new convertible...
So I bought one.

It wasnt the same living in Florida without one. I had an S2000 that I sold last year, as I just came to the realization that it was too small for me. If I could daily drive any car, the Z would under consideration.
When I bought the Z 3 months ago, I had to go to Texas to find one. Its a CPO car (was a Nissan corporate car previously). Its got every option available, included navigation/hard drive, heated and cooled seats (a first for me), lighted door sills, and sport package (LSD and 19" wheels). And, of course it is a 6-speed.
Right now, its got the Berk CBE and HFCs. I have plans to do the rear camera, front lip, intake and tune before the year is out.
As it sits, at home on the beach:

As a fellow former S2k owner, I'd love to hear your opinion on how it compares to your S2000. I've also always loved the Z, too. Congrats on an awesome looking car. Thanks for sharing.

The Z (or mine in particular) is just SO much for comfortable, especially for someone who is 6 foot or taller. I'm used to amenities in my cars, and the Z doesnt disappoint. Of course, all this adds up to weight. The Z is just so much more car though, and the torque.....
. Of course, the Z is gonna be more to maintain over time.Surprisingly, they both get NEARLY IDENTICAL mileage 18/25 in the Z, 20/26 in the S. I've been able to squeeze 26 out of the Z on the highway. The S's shorter gearing hurts it in this category.
I will always love the S2000. But the Z is on a whole nother level as a convertible.
Now, if I can scrape up enough money for another TSX or TL, my garage will be set.
