That's pretty cool... Nothing sounds like that engine (or that horn)... 
edit: The vw factory had a syncro (AWD) baywindow bus (79 was the last year of that bodystyle) as a test mule back in the early 80's... too bad they didn't make a syncro till the vanagon days...
