yep yep, it's actually becomming a common swap. Most guys just swap in stock motors, could you imagine what a fully built b series would do in one of these things

so much fun

imgaine the kseries motor in that

the hytech upgrades for the kseries motor (NA) allows the rsx to stay w/an m5 on the highway according to hytech, so imagine that engine in a 200 lbs lighter body

yea, wouldn't make that much of a diff, you can get about 250 whp out of a b-series. However the hytech k series setup is fucking intense

and the mini is A LOT lighter then the RSX it probably weighs about 1600 lbs (if that) talk about power to weight ratio

but isnt it hard to make 250whp of the b series via NA especially reliably?

i guess u meant 250whp via a turbo?

According to C&D magazine's test the Hytech RSX only could pull off a 14.4 @ 103 though. Not really all that impressive for over $12k worth of engine/tranny mods.

Sorry didn't mean to

I've been doing some research into old Bmw 2002's, and have come accross some crazy stuff for the old Minis along the way

BUT a Vtec motor in a Mini is just too cool

@103 mph must be what you missed THat's some serious traction issues, should be a mid to low 13 second car

it'd be reliable, it'd have to be a fully worked motor though

only getting 250 whp out of a turbo on a bseries would be pretty weak.

A friend of mine has a CRX with a b20 swap and turbo. He's pretty much the man when it comes to a turbo'd honda.
