(VIDS) me v. supercharged cl-s, me vs. 350z

this first one is me (ur pulleys, cai, headers, catback) vs. RedRider (icebox, headers, mufflers, s/c) from a stop. he got a little jump on me in this race, but it's obvious to see the power the s/c is making over my n/a car.

i think the s/c is a great way to bolt on some nice reliable hp & tq. and with all the talk about piggyback ecu's, intercoolers and such, things should continue to get more interesting.
6mt 350z isn't a joke. even in bone stock form they will take out most any n/a cl-s, auto or 6mt. there's only a handful of cars on this forum that would have a chance with one. a stock cl-s wouldn't even be a race.
my car was 190 lbs. heavier than normal, thanks to camera man TypeSDragoon. excuses, excuses..

you know what would be awsome A VID OF A MAXED OUT BOLT ON AUTO,then 6mt then me in the 3.5 then the comp blown unit and last the twin turbo on a 5 lane from a slow roll...i caN JUST SEE THE STAGGER sorry bout the intermitatant caps lock

he "could" have tho, and left matt about a mile behind
i believe hammer said when asked why he didn't go down to second, "there was no need to"
obviously, even in 3rd gear at that speed, the 350z still kicks a CLS's ass

2. 3.5
3. bolt on auto not by much
4. and last the stock 6sp
i bet everyone would agree on this, unless the 3.5 doesnt have headers or the six speed isnt stock.

First, the turbo needs to be on the car to make a difference; but for hypothetical comparisons it is certainly the one with the most potential. So I would also give it a nod to the lead.
Between the auto 3.5L upgrade and an auto SC, the SC makes more torque and more power; this is going by dyno's presented so far.
I would put the auto 3.5 close to a 6-Speed with bolt-ons with maybe a slight nod to the auto 3.5.
So below is my revised list based on power potential:
1. 3.5 Turbo - 6-Speed
2. Turbo - 6-Speed
3. 3.5 SC - 6-Speed
4. 3.5 SC - Auto
5. SC - 6-Speed
6. SC - Auto
7. 3.5 - 6-Speed
8. 3.5 - Auto
9. Bolt-ons - 6-Speed
10. Bolt-ons - Auto
11. Stock - 6-Speed
12. Stock - Auto
Now obviously with varying level of tuning things could change which is why I made reference to power potential.

But yes, the CL-S6SC with IC and 8 PSI boost would put it near the top but the same could be done to the CL-S6SC3.5. Or add to that the easy ability to turn up the boost on the turbo...
