Used Car Maintenance?

If buying a used TL (probably 05 but maybe as old as 03), what kind of maintenance would need to be done at around 70,000 miles? Transmission, timing belt, etc?

Thank you in advance.

Do you have the maintenance history and the owners manual?

Look in the owners manual and see if there are any "Replace" service mileages in there. A big one is usually timing belt/water pump etc around 100k

Timing belt, tensioner, water pump, plugs at 105K, along with trans fluid 100K. Brake fluid is 3 years, and coolant is in there someplace, maybe 4 but not certain. The MID will not let you forget. If no maintenance records, just change the air filter, cabin filter, and give the car a thorough checkup eg brake pads and rotors, cv boots etc.
