that why i sometimes get scared running against those super fast cars @ the track, i'll pull a late r/t on purpose just to make sure the other car aint gonna go out of control

If his car wasn't that powerful, he might not have been able to save it... he did mostly use the throttle to correct where his car wanted to go. Excellent driver, I'm sure. Others woulda just panicked.
