This is exactly how I want the car to sound, deep tone with a little turbo whistle

Nice!!!
Y'all gonna have to drive that far to get the headliner back over to you?
Are you doing any other parts of the interior that looked worn?
Great shots! That blue photographs well.
Just ordered you a fukengrüven front European plate.

I haven't encountered the hate part of the relationship, but the love part sure is in full swing
.As some of you have already read on the interwebz, I took the car on a hard 250 mile drive yesterday with my local car club. Temps reached 95f+ (sometimes 104f) heat, we climbed roughly 5,000FT, turbos were seeing 15psi every corner ... car didn't feel bothered at all. Oil temps were around 225f - 245f, coolant gauge never went over 1/2 way. I was thinking, if the ETH FO were to have unforseen issue(s), yesterday would have been the day.
Nice! Good to see she made it with out an issue. It's sounding more and more like you got yourself the opposite of a lemon... I wonder if it's due to all the maintenance that was done to the car before you bought it, or if it truly is a lucky hit on a solid car.

I'd say the car was treated well for it's 15 years on earth considering it still has the original turbos / clutch.
Very satisfied with my purchase so far!

If you want to come out to ACH and meet up I'd love to meet ya! Just make sure your car doesn't hit limp mode on the way up

I kid I kid.

GMR is burned up, ACH has no damage. I went up twice yesterday. haha Super clean. Dude you should come out. Let's meet up when Tyler is here. I'll take some photos of your car too If your BMW can catch up to me.

But really, I do hope your car makes it up safe & sound. Limp mode is dangerous as hell.
I've seen some recent pics from Jin, I'm sure it's fine
Nice meeting you again man. Still can't believe it's been two years since we went to Chuckwalla track together. hahaha
Dude I have customers driving down to LA from SF, Vegas, and Arizona to get the shit done. hahahahaha I guess there aren't many shops that do it for my pricing range.
Not every Audi is a lemon

Speaking of the new wonderful bowel movements, the new 340i (335i replacement, also .. I'm imagine the same powertrain as the 435i?) is no joke. Insane linear power ...
I got first hand experience how quick they are on yesterday's drive ... my car would creep on it at 15psi, but as we got towards the upper end of the rev range he left me
