Was the sunroof leaking? Looks like dried water spot on the driver A pillar. Might be why the original one sagged...hopefully that's addressed before your suede work gets damaged!

Good eye J and thanks for looking out, we noticed it's on all 4 pillars when we were putting in the headliner.

I examined the sunroof seal and it looks pretty good, maybe the PO had a brainfart and left it cracked during a storm? Who knows

I have a small list of interior bits that need replacing (Airbag clip covers, sunvisor clips, etc), 15 year old plastics proved to be quite brittle .

Is Jin using Alcantera? If so, you should get your steering wheel redone in it also.

You sure that's not from the cawk you're holding in the passenger seat?

Man... that'd be one long cawk, if it stretches over to the driver's side, makes a circular shape, and requires both of my hands...

Then again... it is black...

Flip, have you been sitting in my car as of late?

Yep!

Already bought the Alcantara to play around. Checking out this super expensive stitching machine later today with wifey. I literally have like 30 people lined up for the steering wheel wrap in Alcantara. haha

Don't be sorry, oil leaks gotta get fixed lol.

You sure your low oil light is working? Maybe you are running dry.

That was my initial thought too. The fluid was definitely fresh oil .. Just don't know why so much came out at once and none afterwards?

I don't have a ton of time this week, but the weekend will be spent under the ETH FO haha.

Perhaps Audi has figured out how to make a dipstick that breaks?

6.3 Quarts I think.

Oil temps stay between 225C.

They cool rapidly when they leak out of the engine though

Of course, you are just getting into the whole German Engineering thing. You will discover more of the WTF were they thinking kind of feature as you go.
Reliable German cars don't use dipsticks anymore but obviously sensors never break and with 12k intervals, i even think the sensors are useless!

10k was my first one, then it seems the interval increases for the 2nd one

if you bought your car, i would still recommend you to do every 5k. the 10k interval just does not make sense to me in terms of reliability.
Since i am leasing, i dont give a shit
