The heated seats were the only thing the wife actually enjoyed in the B5
..
Otherwise yeah, I'm super happy with how the project turned out and it did up the resale value by at least a grand or two.
Any clean 6 speed Recycle Bin / sports package car fetches good money nowadays.

Car looks sweet man. Wish I was still taking trips out to SD on the regular to get another go in this thing.

Could you add in the heating elements from a cold weather seat, to the sport seats?

Dash trim swap complete - I thought it would be a nightmare but had ideal prying tools which made the job half way enjoyable.
ONLY thing left to swap is the wood shifter surround - it's currently in the mail and should be here soon.
I am thrilled with how this looks.

I think as the car gets older and older, the wood trim to me gets cooler ... although, the aluminum trim / blue alcantara look was my vision for the last 5 years.
No ragrets!

Looks great!
Brushed alum trim would be my preference after the matte black wood I had in the Merc.

Thanks man!
I feel like I should stop showing a 20 year old turd love but .. it's hard not to.
5 years of ownership coming up in June.

Don't even ask about muffler lube & blinker fluid. Probably take a year to get to those.

Ever since picking up the A7, almost 90% of my commuting is dedicated to it and I only drive the S4 maybe 2 - 3 times a month. Last time it sat for 2 weeks, I was almost scared to drive the S4 because it's about 11 years older and isn't really tight as a drum anymore. It rattles when it's cold out, suspension knocks a bit up front ... also, I've removed so much refinement from it over the years by adding poly mounts from front to rear.
It's not really a race car, but it's riding on that fine line
.
After starting it / beating on it for an entire day, I'm happy to say that it's actually made me like driving it even more
.
Steering is firm, ride is firmer, exhaust is orgasmic on up & downshifts, and the slight delay to build boost followed by the punch of 25 psi @ 4RPM gives it some theatre.
Gotta say, I'm pretty happy with my line up right now.
Old Audis never lose their charm.
Thanks for reading.
