Your dedication to this cause is really admirable.
Plus, it's great to see how you boys get along spending long nights together now so it won't be such a huge shock when all of your significant others give you the boot and you have to move into brotown condo together!
Send me an invite!

Forgot to mention - dyno appointment is on 9/28 from a reputable shop ... I don't plan on getting stood up for the 3rd time .
It's a mustang dyno so ... I doubt I'll be in the 450s. I'm hoping for over 400whp / 425wtq.

Results are in
While the numbers are a bit higher than I expected, the graph tells a lot about what my car is doing. Some good, some bad.
I got there at around 9am and it took around 10am to hook it up. The car was kind of heat soaked due to poor shop ventilation ... it wouldn't surprised me if the ambient temperatures were upper 70s to low 80s.
1st run: 424whp & 447wtq
2nd run: 426whp & 465wtq
3rd run: dud ... car slipped on the dyno a bit so he let off.
Here's the dyno graph:
Take aways:
While the first run was the lowest power, it yielded the best powerband. The second run yielded the best peak numbers, but dropped off considerably.
Why did it drop? I can only blame hot IATs ...
The car makes 400wtq at 3600rpm
If you look at the graph, the line isn't as smooth as I'd like and that's due to some boost issues I'm encountering. When I say boost issues, it'll spike 25psi and taper off to 22psi which is totally normal, but the actual boost requested vs actual boost is different and oscillating a bit - maybe 1psi under load.
There's certainly a small hardware problem I need to address, but it's hardly noticeable. After examining older logs, my car has been doing it since going e85 (no correlation) - it's possible I have a leak / my wastegates are getting out of sync ... could be other issues.
Overall, I'm very happy with the car and I love it's sleeper factor - I ran a cammed / exhaust / intake C6 Corvette Grandsport and he couldn't catch me after I got the jump.
The fact I got the #s I wanted on a Mustang dyno is fantastic ... a dynojet would yield around 470whp/490wtq

That's awesome! Must be a blast to drive! How is traction from a dig? Or do you not push it from stop?
Sidenote, picked up an 07 Honda fit Sport in blue for my wife in manual last month. Friday she wrote it off its a zippy little car. On the lookout for another one.

Where’s the other 1/4 of the car?
I’m assuming no one was hurt?

She's totally fine, thanks guys. She rear ended one of those typical Econoline work vans. She was only going like 40km/h buy the other car is so much higher. No airbags went off.
sealed a deal on a replacement today to surprise her.

Not really an S4 update, but ... this is something I've been wanting to do a long time and I am really happy with how it turned out.
I spent the whole weekend re-doing the garage.
I have a tendency to be a bit of a pack rat, so naturally ... the garage cleanup took the most time - roughly 4 1/2 hours or so.
Re-painted the walls, ceiling, cabinets, and floors:
Pressure washed the floor, applied some concrete etch:
Applied epoxy & paint floor coating (Don't mind the huge crack in the foundation )
Applied RaceDeck:
Tools / racks starting to go in:
Last piece of the puzzle is getting proper lighting in ... I ordered some LED lights and should have it done by this weekend.
Overall, I am beyond happy with how it turned out.
Thanks for reading!

Car has been holding power really well so ... we'll see
Garage isn't detached but doesn't have any entrances into the house - odd configuration, but I'm just happy we have a laundry shoot from the bedroom .

Hey hey hey, sandals is not barefoot. Motor pulls in sandals will continue
It's surprisingly not bad being barefoot!
In low light, it's pretty disorientating lol.
