Don't you think Steff Pappadakkis's 6-second Civic (V6 Turbo) is more impressive? That V8 is probably a big-block as well!

The difference is that Mustang is a back half car (I believe) and it isnt a big block, its a 351 based V8. I have witnessed/videos a pass of that monster at Norwalk, and I was 15 feet behind it next to the burnout box. It really isnt that loud once it leaves the line because its gone so quickly.

I belive the Pro-50 guys have gone 6's @ 210mph by now, but I dont keep up extremely well with them, so I may be off.

Thats Dan Millens Super Street Outlaw car. He's running 7.00s now. Its a 380 somethinc cubic inch motor with a 101mm turbo.....it produces over 2000hp! That import guy...Steph Papadapa....greek guy goes 6s because his car only weighs 2200lbs. Millen....Billy Glidden...Mike Calavert....most top SSO guys run low 7s because the run at around 3000lbs on a 10.5" tire!!!

I've been saying all along V8 guys should use turbos. Just the other week while I was watching Horsepower TV, they had Gale Banks on there to show their twin turbo kit for the small block chevy. I was like it's about damn time. Turbo power!!

For those who don't know who Gale Banks is, he is a well recognized name in tuning diesel power(which are also turbo). He has been tuning turbo cars since like the 60's or 70's
