It pretty much is imo. You can hit those numbers with a quality header and e85 tune anyway.

Your bluetooth issue my be a problem with the module on the ECA. Is it seen by your iPhone?
#324
There's no apple app.
I found this on ft86:The ECA module uses Bluetooth 2.1 your galaxy S6 might only support Bluetooth 3 and newer.
This is a tuning issue you have to address with your tuner. Your tuner needs to disable this code since the flex fuel 0-5v output is using this pin for input to the ecutek to read the flex fuel reading.
Today is my one day a week in the office, we have a VZW contract and old/ retired phones are sent to us for disposal I'm trying a J3.
Car feels absolutely amazing btw

No apple app, but you should still see the bluetooth module broadcasting.

I went down with the J3 & iPhone. Neither see the module.
Called PTUNING, they suggested no power to the module which makes little sense because without the module how does the car know it's flex fuel and run great? They are looking into it & calling back.
Meantime hopefully Zach can look at the logs & verify it's working.

So after some time having mine installed, the bluetooth module stopped working. Only way to fix it was to replace the control box. I'm not sure I believe their no-power claim because, like you said, no power = no content sensor. Unless power is provided seperately.
I had the Delicious flex fuel kit, so I'm not sure how the P-Tuning module is installed/works.

There is a cable from the 02 sensor to the PTUNING Flex Fuel Analyzer Module V2.2 w/Sensor FailSafe (their description) which now I'm looking at it doesn't BLE 4.0 mean BT 4? a cable from the GM/Continental Flex Fuel Sensor (3/8" Quick-Connect Ends) (Small) to the "Analyzer Module"

Ok, so the same as Delicious setup, just with a much smaller module. And yes, that's Bluetooth Low Energy. I'm still thinking it's a bluetooth module issue, but Zach and Ptuning would be the ones to confirm.

The 86 spent the first night away last night at the body shop.
Mother of all dings, at first I thought I was losing my mind because I didn't see it when I bought but thought I must have bought it this way. Dealer said they had pictures showing it was not that way but apparently had an amateur try to fix it because the PDR guy that made this video said there were high spots all over, far from the ding that is of course in front of the door support.
it must have happened day 3, the first time I went anywhere that I left it parked at the market.
I have a Cherokee rental, Jesus what a POS. powertrain is buzzy, sluggish noisy. Has high sills just inside the door so you have to lift your leg up, then it seems like it sits high like a truck but really isn't so I keep stomping the ground when I get out because my leg is lifted high (after forgetting and hitting the sill) and me being lower than I expect.

Well, since you don't have the car to make any updates, can I sidetrack a sec? Did you say you had a Techstream setup for your Tundra? If so, can you share some info? I looked into it years ago and think I have an old image of the program somewhere... But no idea whats changed in the past 10 years and/or what the requirements are to actually talk to the vehicle.

I have TS it works on all Toyotas.
I got the program here:
https://www.tundratalk.net/threads/o...6#post-9264394
The cable is any one of 1,000,000 available on Amazon & eBay. I am using the 150.00 one that came with my OVTune so if you want I'll send you the Chinese one I used before I got the expensive one.

So it happened day 3 or they are full of shit and you bought it that way and there are high spots?
I'm confused.
Scrutinize the blend!
If you're same cost out of pocket as your deductible I would NOT run that through insurance.
It'll hit carfax and they'll have an incident on you now.

I'm torn. It seems unlikely I missed it but also unlikely it happened the first time I parked in a parking lot.
If you look at the video there are clearly high spots so the dealer had a syphilitic deranged circus monkey "fix" it.
It's too late for insurance, although it's at or less than my deductible I already made a claim, I have their shitty rental and I'm picking it up today.
The door was scratched up (like people regularly leaned against it) and the area under the door handle was scrapped up like Edward scissor hands owned it, so at least that's all fixed.

No sweat here, looking forward to having a pristine door & the weather cooling so I can install the header.
On a side note, PTUNNING is replacing the module, the reading in my logs was 2% per Zach and after looking at the situation PT decided it was the module. Hopefully that also solves my BT issue.

Soooooooo Good news/bad news....
I got the BRZ limited door harness & led door lights. The first harness I got was fine, second was not from a limited & didn't have the connector. I installed the first one and a Hertz woofer in the driver door because the replacement harness was out for delivery. It came & the only fucking connector I care about is crushed.
The light is connected to the harness that controls the dome light so it goes on & off with the door.
This is the reflector the light replaced.

89 degrees w/ 63% humidity here... Feels like temp is (drumroll...) 106F!
I'll take that dry heat any day.
EDIT: man, 120 degrees and 20%... In a way, I kind of miss walking out of work into that... For a few glorious seconds, that dry evisceration actually feels good.
