Tundra 86'd for an 86 which was 86'd for a Sequoia

My dad had a couple B-210s & a super clean (when he was done with it) 510.
His last B-210 was set up for the track (but still street legal). I remember him telling me about following a Porsche on the highway (probably in around 1981) at around 120-130mph, then the 911 decided it didn't want to be followed anymore & pulled away like he was at a stop sign (I'm guessing it was probably a 930).

I've only driven one AP1 and a couple of AP2s with various mods, and a minute but noticeable difference is the steering feel. S2000s feel numb to me. Yes, the car is very responsive and it goes where you point it, but it is hard to feel what the tires are doing through the steering wheel.
CSG Mike has mentioned Thunderhill (my "home" road course) is more of an aero-oriented track. With E85, header, and an OTS tune I have had no problem reeling in S2000s. Passing them is a bit harder, lol. I don't know how they were all modified but some sounded like they had test pipes? They were loud af. I wouldn't even say I'm that good of a driver. Given my low amount of seat time and compared to others with similar experience, I'm probably juuust above average.
The daily part was huge for me. I'm almost certain if I went with an S2000 and it was my primary car, I wouldn't still have it today. Honda theft is a huge problem here too. I'm traumatized from when my stock-looking Integra was broken into and cleaned out.

I think my last post might come off a little harsh. I love the S2000. Absolutely perfect 2nd car. Top down motoring is great, especially if you live in an area with nice weather. Everybody should put one through its paces at least once.
Just as a daily, no. I know a guy at work who has dailied his supercharged AP2 for years. Having a hardtop 24/7 helps, maybe. Even stock it was too loud for me on the freeway.

Wish FA20 had a little more power in it from the stock. But the balance and aero makes it up for it.
S2K really shines once it gets a wing and balanced aero. That car doesn't need any power mods, aero and tire and it's wicked fast.
But yes, a terrible daily. haha

S2000 is great for all the reasons it sucks.
As soon as I sold my old one, I missed it.
I've had the Rio for over 5 years now and
wouldn't let it go easily although lately I've been
feeling like I don't use it enough to justify keeping it.
With residuals holding steady/increasing on them
I don't feel a burning need to make a decision either way.
I have a handful of friends in line to buy...@thoiboi being one of them...
Rear window delam'd on the Robbins top...what an upgrade
Working on getting that fixed now and honestly not really being able to drive
it at will has made me miss it. If I ever do think about selling it I just need to drive
it to work in the morning with the top down and the sun coming up and I'm cured of that urge.

not the most practical instead of terrible would better describe it.
I think a terrible daily is one you have to worry about being reliable and the S2000 isn't that.
The only complaints would be from older guys with bad backs, sensitive ears and a little extra
girth on the belly, methinks. Unfortunately sometimes I fall into various variations of those categories.

If you are comfy financially keeping it, don't ever sell S2K, period.

I trust very few people behind the wheel of a high powered car, but that fucking thing was fast. We were on side streets doing 20-120ish pulls in a 35 zone. Fun, but I'd rather do pulls on the highway, especially when I didn't know the roads we were on.
It actually hooked up pretty well. It was the car on the left before the green paint, 2j swap, and full drag setup (and yes, the middle one has a K20)
They make nice parts. I had their ultra quiet front pipe and radiator shroud on my car - although the radiator shroud was never installed as it was going on the larger radiator/oil cooler combo that never went in either...
Zach is the one that tuned my FR-S. I know there was some bad blood when he left Delicious. I don't know all the details and I can't speak to whether the tune was good because of Zach or because of Delicious. But both Delicious and CSG are quality businesses.

take care of you can have so many meanings.
please stay cautious in your dealings. I'm not sure if he will offer some sort of discount
or potentially kill and bury you or maybe give you some sort of manual pleasure that you
might appreciate.

Yeah I've had some scary car experiences, but the scariest ones tend to be when someone else is driving.

Homelink mirror from eBay came, I found the harness inside my light and was set to be done no splicing in 5 minutes when I found I did not get the part (lower left corner of pic) needed to attach the damn mount to the car. GAAAAAAA
Contacted the eBay seller, he responded how do you want to resolve this? How do you think? I want the missing part.

It's on Amazon too if you want it sooner:
But list price is around $8, so check with Subaru since they may have one on hand.

Yes!
You have nice ideas.
Are you by chance open to adopting a poor boy with bad manners and a foul mouth? I'm not a picky eater.

It's soft metal; the screws are supposed to bite into it and thread in.
PS pics for those parts will be coming in the next two days.

Yeah, the original parts were threaded and the screws would back out all the time on mine. I got a new one and it was the same as yours, and held way better.
it was pretty bad. The rear view was useless with the original design.
Yikes... I have that issue with a lot of radios these days - they all look pretty old and cheap. CF should take good care of you though.
