No clue, insurance can look into it, the only reason I made a claim is the TRD Pro running boards are 700+ I bet the dent removal & paint are less than 700 but 500.00 deductible made it make sense to enter the claim.

I messaged my PDR guy to see if it can be fixed. There are a few other dings on the Tree & the Z3 so I have plenty for him to do. That'll determine if I close the cliam.

Boo
Hi this is Matt with AZ Dent Repair. Thanks for the pics. Unfortunately there are limitations to PDR-Paintless Dent Repair. Once the paint is compromised it will only want to crack/chip more if worked. That door would need a conventional repair at a bodyshop, sorry for the bad news.

This happened in the Z3 & killed a plug (hopefully that's all it did)...
Hoping the unburnt fuel caused the oil to stick to the plug & that's why it is asked, piston looks like all the rest, Valve cover was damaged during the engine installation & has been leaking, it started leaking worse when this happened I have had a new one for months so in it goes.

Z3 motor is dead,
Forged internals incoming (to the builder in Ca) He is going to build a motor & we'll swap. Now I have to take the damn thing out.
Big fun.

Getting an intercooler to fit would have been a nightmare so to lower combustion chamber temps, I ordered an e85 kit.

Thanks, don't really have a choice, I'm way upside down on the value running, super secret CIA sub-basement under water not running so I need to make damn sure it doesn't happen again.

It's boxed up waiting for UPS to take it to CA. To the builder.
Crappy but sturdy inner box with a ton of bubble wrap and HD cardboard protecting the head and it's parts after the picture I wrapped it up in the green wrap.
Then into the big box with folded HD cardboard folded around all 4 sides (box from the engine hoist)

Chop my legs off & call me stumpy!
The SC vendor responded claiming the tune was not done, I sent the last email where he says if the car is running right we are done (paraphrasing)
He responded send the current read of the DME to prove it has his last file.
Guess he is going to pay.
