Love the headlight updates, been wanting to update my sisters but never did. I did however put "Nightrunner" leather seat skins in for her and it transformed the interior, in case you need another project
...and why do you want to get rid of this thing? You're going to be pretty disappoint in a M2 when you want to bring some plywood home.
Don't really want to get rid of it but also don't really use it as a truck anymore. The glamper has been with my Brother for several years which was it's original mission
and I guess it really comes down to I'm bored.
I'll most likely keep it. I might look at that SC Miata today, my Wife's reaction was literally how are you going to drive that when you are 70. I said I'm freaking 58 and I want it before I can't enjoy it.I love it when she has no response.
lol

Thanks, never been a leather fan & in Phoenix where it's over 90 65% of the time it's even worse.
I like the neoprene and it transformed the 80's polyester sh!t that was there.
Truck looks g ood.
I borrow my father-in-law's Tundra Saturday to go retrieve his trailer (and visit my parents, where it's stored).
For an '08 with 130k on it, it drives & tows (an empty cargo trailer) pretty well. Definitely makes me miss my F150 a bit.
His needs a new radio, the volume knob works when it wants to & jumps up & down when turning either way.
I like those headlights. I wish the 4Runner had an OEM option like that. There are some aftermarkets that come close, but it seems like they never quite get the usable output right like OEM does.
We should have @Yumcha clean up @civicdrivr 's thread by moving all your posts over here now
Before I started posting Morgan gave me permission, while I was posting, he gave permission, after you brought it up he said he liked the conversation.
Toyota dealer I have bought my last 6 cars from offered a trade, I just paid tax and license. Considering the Tundra has 182k, I'm happy. It's a 2017 with 16k miles Certified 12 month/12k bumper to bumper & the remainder of the 100k 7 year powertrain warranty.
I miss the torque but the money I was going to use toward paying for a car can go to mods. Paging Morgan, what do I need?
lol I give that car a ton of shit but it's a phenomenal chassis. Congrats! Manual, I assume? I think the 2017s have better gearing too, so it should be pretty peppy in comparison to the older models.
If you want to add power, I still have the Vortech supercharger kit

I do, How much are they what's my old cheap guy discount?
I said I was all over the place. This was literally not even on my radar as a candidate. The sales guy called, I said hmm ok, I'll go look. I like that it is bone stock & unmolested and has a warranty.
I found in with the owner's manual it was a lease "bought" in Downey Ca 4/17.
Morgan is it normal the window goes up & down slightly when the door is ajar?
If it's a frameless window that's normal...it drops down to be lower than the frame then back up into it.
Congrats, man.
Not what I would have expected but I am intrigued by the donut media history of the AE86. Plus I had
a 1987 Hatch SR5 stick...carburetor and all...(don't worry I ran it without a filter so I could hear some grumble ).
I think you should buy the supercharger...supposedly a little boost in power is all that thing needs.
Understood, what it's doing is it "jitters" up & down every 15-20 seconds when the door sits open. That seems odd.
I PMd him, odds are good I'll end up with it even if I have to wait for the warranty to expire before I install it (need to check with Toyota)
I loved the truck, I had just taken it as far as it would go (over a year ago) and as I have another vehicle I can tow with and wanted sporty and the miles were going up/value going down figured it was the one to go.
I am still shocked they gave me that much.
Someone will get a great truck, it's completely sorted, they have no work to do to sell it.
Bangin, man.
I could tell you did a great job.
If I wasn't fully stocked full of vehicles I would have probably been interested.
I look forward to seeing what you do to this.
Congrats on the 86.
Former coworker had a BRZ & every time we had a group lunch away from the office he'd toss me the keys.
Fun car on the street in stock form, I imagine with a bit of massaging, it's a blast.

Yes, but....

That doesn't sound right. It should only drop once the door is open, and return to closed when the door is shut. Do both doors do it?

the chassis is a blast. Sway bars and tires make a huge difference too.
