Y is the CL so diffcult to mod?

 

the 280 is even harder to mod and more $$$. its also kind of slow.

Because they don't respond to shit. Mod it all you want and it'll still never be a fast car. Nothings going to change the fact that it's wrong-wheel drive.

lip kits are hard to obtain. they're discontinuing a lot of products, IE comptech supercharger. yes, fwd is bad. but i'm happy with the C class. it sounds nuts when the exhaust is warmed up. definitely slower than the CL but its not too bad. i like sedans better than coupes. but whatever! i'm happy. looks good imo. its like a mafia car. hahaha.

The 95 C280 is a reliable, old school Benz. Modding her will be expensive, however. I suggest checking out a copy of Mercedes Enthusiast magazine... the Europeans sell tons of great accessories for your car that you'll never find in the States.

Just keep an eye on the head gasket and you should be fine.

 

 

Very clean, I really like that generation C-class, I came REALLY close to picking up a new C280 in 98, instead I ended up with a Catera, I know I made the wrong decision

thanks for all the compliments guys! the car is great. i didn't trade because it was faster or "better looking" i thought it'd be easier to mod, more rare (rarer? i think its more rare, lol) to mod. and more fun! hopefully my sister doesn't mind the extra ponies the CL has. hahahha.
