Price:
$31735 (if no trade in)
Includes taxes and title AND the NW protection package.
Got a full nose mask included at no extra charge.
Traded in the '03 TL-P and got $19,200 for it. That was exactly what KBB and Edmunds specified for its mileage and excellent condition.
Currently has around 400 miles and getting 29 mpg.

Did the entire deal with the internet manager, came to agreement, took it for a test drive and drove home. Took less than 90 minutes.

How many miles did the 03 TL-P have? I have 46,100 on my 02 TL-P and I am hating it more every day. Soooo many minor issues it is driving me nucking futs!
Congrats on the purchase, but I can't say I'll ever trust a TL again.

The seats bothered me (no side bolstering), the car didnt track straight and the interior was just cheap to my eyes. The '97 looks like an entire level above in the luxury category which is just sad. It was a good car though.

Beware of Ron and the ban hammer! Oh, yeah. We already solved that issue on the mod forum. No worries!

Congrats!! How do you think it compares to our 1st gens? Did you keep your 97 3.2? I've only test driven a 2005 TL once and only for a short time, so it's hard for me to compare.

I'm actually comfortable with my TL-P's interior appearance - I've had Accords for years so the similarity is okay by me (and it is a striking one). My issue is that the materials seem to be cheaper than what was found in my Accords! They never had warping dashes or cupholders, broken armrests or steering column casings, jammed CD changers or dried up leather. I was thrilled with the car at first, and the more time that passes the more disappointment has built up. If it can look so much like the Gen 6 Accord (I had two of them), why can't it be the same level of quality they both were?
In all fairness, however, I have sat in and driven the new TL and it is very different. Even with my experience with a TL, it would be difficult to pass up on a good deal on a new one.

Hence the '05 which is a huge leap in almost every respect.
