Trade salvaged 01 CL-S for 03 RSX?

Here's the story:

One of my friends has a 2001 CL-S with 75k miles. The transmission has bit shifting a bit harshly lately and may be exhibiting signs of failure. Hopefully my fluid change next week will fixing the harsh shifting as the fluid looks a bit nasty...

But he recently found a salvaged 2003 RSX:

If the buyer is willing to do an even trade, perhaps add a couple bucks, would it be worth it?

Thanks.

Hell NO!

Plus it has lambo doors and is just a base RSX. Tell your friend he will be fine since his tranny has a 100k warranty.

oops, his CL-S is salvaged too, so there's no warranty on the transmission.

Forgot to add that.

I'd get rid of it for a NON-salvaged used car.

I still see some local kid driving my old 330ci that was totaled out.

Guess he fixed it even though the car was ripped off the frame in 4 spots and the whole floor board was buckled.

Close, he bought the car at an auction and found my number in the glovebox then called me.

He told me he bought it for some crazy price and that his uncle owns a bodyshop and will be fixing it up. He said he had no idea how bad it was under the car till he got it up on a lift.

That was the only time i talked to him and since then i seen it driving around sometimes since he kept all the same mods. I do have a spare key to it though.

I was coming home from a wedding and turned off traction control. I took a turn that was on a hill so i WOT to the top then quickly turned to go down the hill. Well the rear end hopped and when it landed i spun the car into a huge curb, i think i went airborn cuz i ended up smacking a tree in the drivers side b-piller. Most of the damaged happened under the car, my guess is from hitting the curb so hard.

I didnt think the accident was that bad till i got out of the car.

My own stupidity and i paid for it.

That really was the nicest car you've owned out of the last 3

Now that you've done BMW and Audi, are you going to complete the german lux trifecta and get a M-B next ??

It was around 40 degrees and i was still riding on my summer tires.

I really have no excuse for it. Wasnt hurt at all, neither was my passenger. As soon as i got the Audi i took a DE class at the local track.
