If you decide to get the Genesis, make sure you plan on doing this: https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=643

Tim, while that's a great idea and your car looks effing amazing with those additions, OP will most likely add lots of chrome to the Genesis just like he did with his Accord...

I still love it, but I'm slightly partial.
and totally off topic. But in another "should I wipe my butt or not thread", meh. No offense OP.

OP - don't buy a Genesis if you plan on doing this to it. Buy a Maxima instead.

@ comparing an accent to a genesis sedan.

And my god the accord is ugly enough I didn't know it could get worse, but OP proved me wrong.

What is this, Ramblings?

Seriously, I don't think the OP's idea is a bad one. If you are looking for luxury the Genny is not a bad place to start. If you are that concerned about winter just buy some snow tires. Otherwise, an alternate option is an 05-08 RL. Those cars are coming down in price pretty quickly, and they have SH-AWD so with winter tires they are unstoppable.

The chrome isn't as bad as what he'll probably do to the interior of the Genesis like he did to his Accord

I'd get the Genesis.

Genesis > 8G Accord

We have already experienced our fair share of 3G-esque members in the RL forum. We don't need him too.

He seems to want to get chrome rims, so I think he should just get an old police car and put chrome wheels on it. Should be the same thing, right? And he will have some extra monies to buy some sweet sweet grills and mold trim!

Hey, some love chrome some don't. Clearly, the style OP is after isn't the crowd favorite...but I don't think we should ostracize him for it.

CONNORK 53 whats up with the Zzz responce to my message ? I think I gave good info , Hondas / Acuras are reliable, the Genesis looks good as a coupe and sedan , new tech, but it is Hyundai. I also have a 2003 Santa Fe, which is cheaply made inside, door handle broke on inside rear door, Hyundai is better now that they spend more time and money making their cars, Genesis is a real nice looking car, But are they dependable ??? That is why I suggested to him to read user reviews first. Sorry I put you to sleep Connork 53 but maybe this thread is not for you...

Good luck calling people f*gs cause they don't like your car and how you modded it. I tried defending you, but you're not very nice in addition to having QUOC (questionable use of chrome).

Oh, and on another note, the moderators don't take kindly to using gay terms as derogatory statements.

Dave you annoyed us when you had the TL, then you disappeared, and now you come back asking for opinions from people that don't like you or your attitude.

What did you expect to happen?
