Toyota Supra: Mini Photo Shoot

I did these for a friend who is trying to downsize his collection.

Let me know your thoughts. This is the first time I've done a car "photo shoot." I find that cars are much different to light than people. Constructive criticism is very welcome.

Good looking Supra. Other than the 1st and maybe the last I didn't really like the pictures because of the lack of angles, boring background and lighting. Other than the 1st, those pictures remind me of an online dealership ad.

Car looks clean, but the background could use something: Graffiti, parking garage, something. I think practice will work, and look at some of Synth19's work on here.

Car is so clean, nice shots. I'd like to see more angled shots than straight head on though

Nice looking car. I think your photos could help by thinking more abstractly, along with a more interesting background.

I'm not a photographer by any means, though.

Hard to explain, look at ren's avatar above. Stuff like that. Perhaps abstract wasn't the correct term, but that's what I mean.

looking good. Work on the angles. Getting a good location is tough, especially this day and age when everyone wants to kick you out. The only thing I would have done differently in pic one is to clone out the "hot spot" area in the rear. You can see the swirls/scratches/etc.

Cool pics man!

Make sure to learn about the rule of thirds! And from my personal experience, the best time of the day to take car pics is when the sun is setting down! Good luck!

I removed the one in the front but left the one in the rear per my friends request. These were to sell the car so he wanted to show imperfections. If you look at the original sized pictures you will notice rock chips, etc.

Not when you are using lighting.
