I am speaking from my own experiance, because this site helped sell me on my TSX. I was able to find a lot of info on the car along with actual owners perspectives. Anyways, i just thought i would share my on the topic...

we changed to acurazine, because competitors kept registering acura- domains, so we decided to create an umbrella brand that would encompass all of our various - domains, and to allow us to easily add forums as new models/designations come out.
the toyota forum is not getting shut down, they likely have to sign a contract stating they have permission from Toyota to use the Tundra trademark in their name. It's unlikely Toyota will charge them any fees. Toyota has to enforce their trademarks, because if it goes unenforced for a specific length of time, the trademark could be considered null and void.

I can tell you that Prius chat was already shut down. Some others as well. See link for more.

Ok, I tried to go to toyotanation tonight and it's not working. Has it really been shut down, or is the site just having a problem?
Reason being, my sister bought a used '05 Corolla and has "lost" one of the hubcaps. I was trying to find one for her, but I don't know what they look like and I don't know any sites for Toyota parts. She lives in DC and I'm in Jersey, so I can't just go out and see what the hubcap looks like. Can anyone help me out?
