Today, some HOTROD white guy amazed me...
i was in my friends Hatchback going to eat and we stopped at the light.. then a 60s Chevy muscle car (no idea what it was.. dontk now much about old cars) pulled next to us ( the sound of that car is scary). He was like typical american muscle guy, White, tatoo everywhere who looks like limibizikits (sp).
Then he said .. oh what u guys got in that hatchback and my friend told him ... just a GSR sway that s all. and he said Oh i have a hatch back too with H22A swap. when he said he has a hatchback too with H22A i was like... wow... a american muscle guy likes our econ import rice rocket too?
i always thought that 99% of the HOTROD guys dont like imports....especially 4 bangers...i guess i met one of the 1% today.

Real car guys don't care about the make and models of vehicles...
I've got my CLS (260hp) and a 79 VW bus (67hp), and I like everything in between...

Everyonce in awhile at a show I'll run into some guys that know their shit about imports. I ran into these crazy fucking Canadians at the good guy show this year. One of their daughters had a 95 S-10 and he was putting an h22a in it. Guy said he was just at the point of setting up the transaxle to fit but he had it all mapped out. He was suppose to email me but never did w/ pictures
A lot of them also give the guys respect, but the true guys, not the ricers. And suprisingly a few of the big guns aren't afraid to admit that they've been kiled by one or two before. This one old guy had a blown 69 camaro and got smashed by a hatchback. You should of heard him tell the story, it was like he got passed by an F-16. He was so jazzed on losing to it.
