The TL needed a new TDI...
My credit score between all 3 bureaus is between 750-820. I'm a member of a bowling organization (USBC - i'm a bowler), and they sent me an application for a USBC Mastercard through Nationwide bank. I figured I don't own a Visa or MC, only Amex and I need at least one for those random times that a place i'm buying from doesn't take Amex (which seems to be happening more often lately). I applied for the card, and after about a month got a letter from them with their decision to DECLINE my application because I don't have enough credit. I called Nationwide up to find out what the heck is going on because it makes no sense. They said that through one of the bureaus, I didn't show enough credit. I called the bureau to find out what the nonsense is about, they had no idea why I would have gotten declined because I had plenty of credit. Turns out, aside from the over a dozen car leases and/or finances I've had, Amex doesn't report to this bureau, so to Nationwide they didn't show me to have any credit cards through this bureau. Needless to say, I happened to walk into a BP gas station and saw an application for a BP Visa, figured I may as well fill it out, especially considering I fill up with BP most often, may as well benefit from the savings, and get a Visa at the same time. Filled out the app, 10 days later, had me a Chase BP Visa with a $15,000 limit
Credit situations suck donkey balls.

Just pulled my report and my last 2 car loans are only reported to one bureau. That's probably what is going on. Thanks for tipping me off shoof.
I'm not going to give up. I was pretty frustrated but I have no choice but to get a car.

Keep me in the loop as to what's going on....last thing I need is to pick up a car that I don't particularly need right now....
Oh, and about that story I told you with my bank mailing me the approval letter for the car loan that I successfully dodged from the Mrs., I came home again tonight and they sent me another letter, this time telling me why they approved me, what my credit score is, etc...just some legal nonsense....dodged the bullet again though...this is getting too hard to hide from her...don't know what to do! No loan, no Lotus

I couldnt get the car because i didnt have enough credit history. Im trying to get my previous history to all three credit bureaus because it is currently only with one. The TL buyer backed out and stiffed me on the work that i had done to the car on top of that.
i dont see a car in my future for at least 6-7 months.

Not time yet. Things happen the way they are supposed to. There will be more when you are ready. Might also consider getting financing prior to shopping. G/L
