This thread is funny

https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/advice-crossover-placement-replacing-front-speakers-103841/

Here, a bunch of TL owners try to convince themselves that the RL is not worth a lot more than the TL.

Reminds me of our threads here, TSX owners trying to convince ourselves that the TL is not worth more than than the TSX.

And, forums at other boards, Accord, MZ6, MZ3 owners trying to convince themselves that the TSX is not worth more.

I'll bet anything that, if any of those TL owners could afford it, they'd be driving RLs right now. Just like many TSX drivers would be driving the TL if they had their chance, many Accord drivers would be in the TSX, etc.

LOL.

Personally, I'd love to have a TL or RL and I can tell all the cars apart. But, that doens't make me any less happy to have a TSX!

So true. Either way I love the TSX.

I think RSX, TL, and RL owners can be proud too! Acura has got a great lineup these days.

That table is essentially reproduced from Consumer Reports. The TSX was something like 2 percentage points below the highest possible category, and so didn't make the list. The TL had some first year fit-and-finish issues and was just "average" in it's first year. I'm confident both cars will emerge at the top of CR's reliablity survey in another year or so. The TSX's rating might suffer next year though, because so many of us had the issue with the center module lights failing.

It is kind of funny reading that thread. Some TL owners say they like the TL more because it is more sporty, handles better, and is more fun to drive! LOL. Where have I read all that before?

Some people need to just live with their decisions and not worry about what other people think.

Honestly, I'd rather have the TL over the RL. For the extra dough, yes, I would like more room, and I hope Acura refreshes it with that direct injection thing.

Maybe it's just me, but I see this happening more often with Acura/Honda boards than others.... Like you don't often see ppl say the passat is not worth alot more than a jetta, or 5 series over a 3 series.... maybe it's because TL/TSX overlaps somewhat in the market segment...puts them in a strange territory.... not sure

Not in my neighborhood. But, then again, I live in an urban area and none of my neighbors have lawns.
