u should just get a wheel shop to powder coat them another color.. usually they will just sandblast the wheel then do any color you want..

he bought the POS wheels....why couldn't you just buy what you wanted in the color you wanted? With all the money you are going to invest to clean it up, you could have bought a brand new wheel.

also if you decide to powercoat it, take it to a wheel repair shop to fix the blemishes on the lip

What's going on with the ages of drivers these days? I thought the age to be licensed is going up, not down?

actually prepwork is the bigest factor in how a wheel will look.

there was a wheel shop i knew in dallas that would powdercoat for 25$ per coat... sandblasting was around 65-85$ for all four... i would check a few local wheel shops in your area since sending them off may cost u an arm and a leg just in shipping costs...

Every painted wheel I've seen has looked like shit and paint has either flaked or chipped off.

Yes the wheels can be painted. YOu can do anything you want to them. Painting them is also a good chance to sand out some of those scratches on the lip too. Then when you paint... you can do the entire wheel or just the spokes. Hell if you wanted to you may be able to polish them

As long as the wheel is prepped right... it will last as long as you take care of them... bottom line

Here is a set of Rotas I polished up fpr my CRX

And when you get a chance you should PM me your zip code

It's because you painted them that's why. I have had my rims painted and they came out perfect. It's been 2 years and they still look like they are new. I will post pics tomorrow to show you.

Let's hope you don't make them pay more than what you've got them for, which is what you tried doing in the black market a few weeks ago. Don't be a prick and try to make a profit off of these rims, because they're already in such shit condition anyway.

Why not? I mean if he got them cheap and they are worth more to someone else... what is wrong with that? Not trying to be a dick... it is just a serious question
