Test Drive!!!

My cousin is a manager at a used car dealership in Fairfax and he gets to drive any of the cars on his lot home. So last night he came by and was driving an 07 Chevy Trailblazer SS. So i asked him to let me drive it.

BOY does that thing get the fuck out! It is no joke, I had no idea those things were that fast. It was gr8. 6.0L V8, felt almost as fast as the Jeep SRT8.

The biggest problem with Trailblazers is they have the structural integrity of a cooked noodle.

Then there's the horrific chassis dynamics.

So, yeah, the engine and transmission combo is fantastic! The rest of it is unfortunately junk.

^ How fast in corner is fast as hell to you...? It's proven that the SS has poor handling capabilities.

I do know that it's fast as hell in the straight line though.

It's really not even that fast in a straight line....its sounds fast, but in the end it really isn't that fast....just look at the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times

Yea...I had some guiy try racing me in a SS Trailblazer. I was scared at first b/c of the sound of that beastly engine. I finally got the balls to race him and then he backed out...I have headers and intake.

I would definately drive one though. The sound of the engine is awsome and they gotta have torque at any speed/rpm

i had a friend with a Jeep SRT8 and another friend with a Trailblazer SS. The SRT8 was MUCH MUCH faster but the SS still moved. Its pretty quick.

My sis had a leased Trailblazer, fast out of the gate, but everything about it felt mushy. The brakes were like sponges, you press the pedal to the floor and the car slows but you feel like the car is going to tip forward with all inertia pushing.
