The Ten Most Hoonable Daily Drivers

http://jalopnik.com/5831283/the-ten-...vers/gallery/1

So a member of my local Mazda forum pointed out the photo of the Mazdaspeed6 in this Japlopnik article (#5 on the list btw ) was taken at the Pavilions show here in Scottsdale. I thought it might have been mine but it turns out it's another member's car. But while looking through the rest of the cars I noticed the photo of the NSX (#3) looks awefully familiar. I'm not crazy, that is Synth's NSX, right?

3) The delibrate loss of control of a vehicle, better known as "drifting"

Respectable list...not too many I'd disagree with.

I think there could be a lot of additions to that list too though.

My first thought as well. Second thought... do people actually include this word in their daily vocabulary?

As for the list... not bad. IMO, any car can be "hoonable"... but the list was pretty good...

That is the dumbest list of cars I've ever seen.

Who the fuck is going to hoon in an XJR or an E63 Wagon?

Since that list looks like it means doing very stupid shit so basically any car that would have been in a Fast & Furious movie ... WRXs, Evos, Supras, 350Zs, etc

Both of those NSX's are hot! Especially the one with the dual BBK.

The list is kind of all over the place with some cars that are low key and some that are obvious attention getters. What was the point again?

I thought it was "Bufoon". You would have to be one to do all that illegal crap on public streets.

Anyway, nice list.

So I read this thread 20 hrs ago, but something just occurred to me b/c of how they distinguished the title. Since when is a NSX a daily driver? Just b/c it's affordable enough for more people to own than a Ferrari doesn't make it practical enough to be a DD IMO.

There is a guy at my work who drives a '94 or '95, I would guess, but there are also A5s, Boxters, SLKs, 350Zs, G35 Coupes, Astons, 911 Turbos and the CEO's California. All I'm saying is that a list that has a bunch of 5 seater cars and station wagons should not include 2-seater sports cars. Of course those are hoonable and much more at that!

I guess my point is the same as others said. This is a stupid list with random cars on it that stupid people do stupid things in.

20 hours later and it was still bothering me... :endofrant:

The article was confusing to say the least.. it was along the lines of soccer mom hoonmobiles but NSX and mini cooper just don't fit. I'd keep the E63 AMG & CTS-V though.. ..lose the G8, too much chrome.

Just wondering why didnt they list the E46 M3? Yet they listed that AMG wagon which has 4 huge quad exhausts, partly smoked out lights, bigger rims, and in wagon form?!....Yea blends in quite well.

The E46 m3 is way more discrete, and probably more fun to drive too.

also tl type s > 6 imo

With nearly 7,000 posts I'm entitled to occassionally start a crapy thread. With less than 200 posts you sir have already used up your 9 lives up.
