Last weeks episode was until the last segment with the Aventador.

Guess that's why no one's bothered to comment on it

I was floored that a car was actually reviewed and driven on Top Gear USA!!!

Show has turned from bad to worse.
Now it's just a goofy "reality" show with three guys doing stupid stuff in cars.

There are no serious car reviews. No serious/skilled driving.
No serious opinions. No automotive news.

It's barely even a "car" show.

I think they're trying a little too hard to differentiate themselves from TG:UK, but they're not doing it in the right way. Should've stuck with (generally) the same format and instead came up with their own challenges. Can't be that hard..

Therein lies the problem - when you break it down, even TG:UK is doing the same thing over and over again.

Take cars 1, 2, and 3 and drive them from point A to point B. If they a) break down b) leak fluid c) run out of gas d) Clarkson, then they lose the round. Rinse and repeat.

The only difference between TG:UK and TG:US is the presenters. TG:UK is clearly superior in that respect, but TG:US has made strides in the right direction, especially this season. Even Tanner isnt as camera shy as he once was. TG:US doesn't have their own Clarkson, Hammond, or May, and Im glad about that.

And since when has TG:UK had a serious car review?

now that I really think about it.. you're right. Never really realized before, but they do the same exact thing over and over again just in different exotic locations with different model cars (but almost always the same manufacturers...).

They're back! TG USA returns on 1/29 at 9 PM. Just saw the promo on History.

Looks like the end of Jan is going to be a great time for TG fans whether UK or USA!

So do I. Looking forward to seeing the series grow and improve, just like the UK series did.

I want more news and SIARPC rather than just epic trips.

For those who forgot season 4 premiered last night (like me ), you can stream episode 1 online at http://www.history.com/shows/top-gea...coast-to-coast

Adam, Tanner and Rutledge race from New York City to Los Angeles on an epic 3000 mile road trip across the country in brand new supercars. Along the way, they complete a series of challenges to determine the winner of the race. Adam drives the new SRT Viper, Rut the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Stradale and Tanner, the Maclaren MP4-12C Spyder.

Even the chemistry between the guys is getting better. Still not sure Adam Ferrara is the best fit, but they all seem to complement each other well.

The American guys are getting better. Ferrara ain't so bad. He seems to fit a stereotype, as does Rut, and Tanner, so they're all starting to fill their respective niches.

I do miss studio segments, but I think for the American attention span, the current format works.

God I love road trips. I am familiar with almost every mile of I-70 (much of which they took) between Columbus, OH and Denver, CO, having traveled it nearly 30 times in the last 20 years.

Nice show. I also miss the studio segments, but the producers obviously made the executive decision that they weren't the way to go.

Glad to see them spending sometime in KC just down the road from me (literally). That place they were eating at is really good, and is where Wes Scantlin (Puddle of Mud lead singer) used to work before he made it "big". I never heard anything of them being in town. That Mclaren is Great episode.

^^ on that McLaren.

They were also literally down the road from me. A couple of shots on the way to LA were on the 10 and the 60 freeway (just about where the 60 and 57 meet)...pretty much my exit.

That was a great episode. Going 140-160 mph in a tunnel? Effing insane...

Not that anyone cares, but Season 5 of TG USA starts on 6/3/14.

At least I'll be watching, but I guess I enjoy plebeian shows like that.

Besides, have to get a fix of Top Gear while awaiting the next TG UK series.

definitely worth watching. Much better than most of the garbage on TV, although it still doesn't compare with the OG topgear. Then again, does anything compare with the original top gear?

If you like good old restomod American muscle, you'll like this week's episode of TGUSA. I finally caught it on History's web site last night. The Mustang Tanner drove just had a perfect, PERFECT sound. I don't know how Ford consistently gets that V8/exhaust sound right, but they do.

The drag race at the end of the episode is worth waiting for. Without giving details....I'm sure Rut had to change his underpants after his run.

I'm sorry but I have to strongly disagree, except with the end part, which was totally awesome.
The episode was dull, and I would have thought that after last season they would have gotten better at running the script, but this was pretty much a high school production.
The last part, the unscripted one, was phenomenal, after saying "ohhh shiiiit" I couldn't stop laughing for a good 5 minutes.

I wish that Tanner would stop with the donuts, they are getting old.

I was entertained by this last episode. The GT500 and the Camaro are awesome looking cars. And, yes...the GT500 sounds amazing.

For me, these shows are less about car reviews and more about entertainment.
