I hate the new M5.

I'll stick to a stickshift V8 thank you. And NO electronic nannying.

to each their own, although the E39 is one of my favorite if not favorite cars, the new M5 is definitly growing on me and it will have a stick shift option for those who dont wish to shift as fast as Schumacher...

anyone have the full story on what the journalist did to bash up that M5 so royally?

Surprised that they liked the MB better. I would have thought that TG would have gone with the Boxster.

The British really are great automotive journalists...they are so animated and do some great, extremely interesting, creative tests. And they are VERY animated when they review the vehicles (it's great to hear these guys giggle like little school girls behind the wheel of a V8 powered pocket-rocket).

Top Gear ROCKS!

I use bittorrent, you can find the torrent files at www.isohunt.com.

I watched the show tonight on Discovery, it was like watching cliff notes, way too much editing.

Tonight's discovery channel episode was great, especially the attempt to destroy a Toyota pickup truck.

Does anyone know where you can get Top Gear episode descriptions for the new season? Final Gear stopped after Episode 2.

Dan, who has every episode from season 3 on.

not yet, but I have a parrot bluetooth kit that I've been meaning to put in for a while. I'm not sure how well it will do with the interior noise though. Guess I'll find out.

Hmmm, we may be talking about different devices.

I have the device listed in this eBay auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/Parrot-DriveBlue...QQcmdZViewItem

About which item are you talking?

I went and looked at the SLK55 today and I must say that I was very disappointed in it. Its great looking and has an unreal engine in her, but the car doesn't feel that is worth $50,000, let alone the $65,000+ that it actually costs. I really believe that the Corvette is nicer on the inside than the SLK, which is . I didn't get to drive it (due to someone else already buying it) but it looks and sounds awesome when pulling away.

I would have to drive the SLK55 but after driving the new Boxster S a few weeks back, it would take the 5.5L Kompressor in the big 55's for me to take it over the Porsche. Then again I would probably take a Z51 and save $10,000+ over both.
