Top Gear,...nowhere to go?
This article worries me. With a show this popular,........they MUST be able to figure something out. Top Gear must go on.

I think the BBC should step in and start to defend the show, Its obviously popular, and there would be a big loss for the BBC if it was cancelled... Im sure theres some enormous field in the middle of nowhere that a track could be built, that could suit the needs of the show, and make the tree huggers happy.

Top Gear strikes back
Don't panic! Regardless of what you may have read in the newspapers, Top Gear TV will still be the best bit of your Sunday.
Doomsayers have been predicting the downfall of everyone's favourite hour-long car-fest after reports that the show has lost the use of the airfield where it's filmed.
There were plans to move filming to a circuit at Enstone, Oxfordshire - which is suspiciously close to where Clarkson lives - but these have been kyboshed by the local council.
The council accepted residents' objections based on worries about pollution, which means the programme remains at its Surrey lair.
Andy Wilman, executive producer of TG TV, said: "Ideally, we wanted to go to Enstone, but if not, we'll just find another location. There's no great urgency, but it would help us give the show a facelift."
Rest assured, Clarkson, Hammond and May will be bickering later this year as usual.

I didnt post that ^^ because it basically does not add to anything that was already pointed out in the article I started the thread with (same basic quotation from the exec. producer etc).
I know the show will continue,.....but how and where,.......who knows. Its gotta continue,........I would if it didnt.

My understanding of it is that they still have their Surrey base, and the whole commontion was from their attempt to move to Enstone.
The PDF reports on the Enstone proposal's here, if you're pathologically curious enough to read them:

I'm a Top Gear addict too, but I have faith that Clarkson's far too obstinate to let a bunch of villagers put an end to his wasteful tire shredding.
