Brakes now look pretty weak...
I hate to see the dynamics hurt by suck large wheels and although I am not a big proponent of BBKs for just the street, those rotors now look almost as bad as drums stuck under there!

Those brakes do look really weak. The rest of the car looks pretty damn sweet.

Great car tho. Great bang for the buck imo. I considered buying one, but now I'm leaning towards a Cayenne or an X5.
I havent had the opportunity to drive one but from everything Ive read about it - it appears to kick ass. I think its a terrific car, its like a mini-911.
BUT.. I think these huge ass rims would hinder its performance.

i think its need bigger brakes to go with the big rims...it doesnt look right and those small breaks make it look weak too.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be. I'm asking. If you ask me, i'm impressed with the boxter. I'm asking the porsche enthusiasts on the board what they think.

With a few key options it was around $70K. There's a lot of cool options like leather, wood, or carbon fiber covered everything, carbon ceramic brakes (which is an $8K option by itself), etc. but damn it all adds quickly.
