Synth19 Skyline Hakosuka Thread
LOL! I usually keep all my wheels so I can change the look up every season. Next year I'll probably go back to my TE37v's, but maybe paint them bronze.
Honestly, the original L series looked pretty, but kinda worthless. Maybe 90-100hp? However, when I got the car 5 years ago it ran strong. I thought I should just keep it for 4-5 years and then decide what swap to do. After dealing with carbs over the last few years, I've had enough. LOL. Just constantly needed attention/tweaking/etc. Power is not a big thing for me, but the NA RB should be more than enough. My main motivation was safety and reliability. Never felt totally comfortable taking the kids out on long drives with the last motor. The swap should resolve that.
Here are some more pro shots completed by a colleague who was gracious to do a shoot while the car is in Utah. The feature was in the April issue of Super Street Magazine.
