Need info on base model swapping out motor to type s would I need to swap the ecu and engine mounts? Also about the trans I’m thinking about swapping out my automatic for a manual any info on that too? Thank you for any info provided I appreciate it 🙏🏻

I'll bite..

I'm assuming you have a 04-06' TL which unfortunately is auto. Unless your planning to buy a wrecked 6MT TL-S to swap everything into your TL ("easiest" way) then forget about it. For what these cars are worth nowadays, your better off (financially/emotionally) selling your base auto & putting the money towards a base 6MT which you'll be way better off with.

Now, if your a young die hard that "needs" to go down this route. Good luck, your gonna need it.
