All three major American brands have all the technology you could imagine or what. The question is what your goal is ... You might find a Nissan Titan fits your needs better than a Silverado.
You may go drive a Ford Raptor and want that and not care about any of the other stuff.

I love Nissan Trucks...my problem with the Titan is that is WAY long in the tooth.
Dodge Ram 1500 has won motortrends Truck of Year two years in a row. They are also the only truck in that class that currently offers a diesel, which has proven to be insanely popular. It probably offers the most tech.
Then Ford 150 is also a very nice truck with a lot of amenities.
The Silverados...The newer designs are lost on me, but its a highly capable truck. I believe Chevy is bringing back the smaller Colorado, someone correct me if Im wrong.
Tundra..newer design is much more masculine...Tacoma is extremely popular and smaller.
You have LOTS of options.

A friend of mine just got a Ram and I really like it. However, if it were my money, I would consider the GMC Sierra Denali

I'm liking the F-150. Just started working at an Infiniti dealer, and a Ford one is part of the group and it's right next door. It's Platinum trim so I'm assuming its loaded. My dad's '09 GMC just got it's second repair for misfires, and the whole GM thing going on doesn't make them look much better to me. That just my

Over the last 6 years or so my buddy has owned just about each of the big truck models... Dodge Ram, F150/F350, Silverado, and now a Tundra.
He leased the Dodge, F150 and Silverado, so they were all new at the time. The Tundra he has now is a 2008 as he just bought used and got out of leasing. I asked him the other day and he said hands down, the Tundra is the best truck he has ever owned. It just does everything very well.
That said, definitely go test drive each one. It will also depend on how you use it. He owns a landscape company and tows, but he also uses it as a family vehicle, so he's tried them all out a few different ways. But again, to each their own... but you can't really go wrong with any of them...

I dont think you can go wrong with any of these trucks... just go with the better deal and whichever one looks the best to you.

It's a very tight race for top 1/2 ton pick-ups these days. Having spent much seat time in all except for the Titan, I would likely choose the Ram first, with the F150 a close second. The Tundra takes third as they are approx 10 grand more.
Dodge, Nissan and possibly Toyota have all jumped on the diesel band wagon and will be available soon. Might be worth holding out for.

Tacoma interior is cramped IMO, it's just a very questionable seating position, you're kinda low to the floor and the technology is not there. It's the only 4-cylinder truck on the market so if you want a truck and good mpg, I guess it's your only choice, but it comes with a 4sp auto I'd seriously wait for the redesign that's about to happen any day now.

Definitely test drive them and determine your needs.
Do you need to haul anything heavy? Tow? Off-roading?

Is this a troll thread? Might as well have come in here and told us you wanted a FWD sedan.
New Tundra is definitely a looker, interior is much improved as well, but even with a new trans, didn't get much of a boost over the previous gen (actually 1 mpg drop I believe). New RAMs are definitely king of hill right now. Look good too IMO. Those would be my choices.
My buddy has a 900hp (on pump), 10 second twin turbo diesel dually. Scares the shit out of me. He's eaten two transmissions and shreds his tires. Would be my second choice.

If you don't need or want a bigger truck, I would say check out the new Colorado/Canyons first.
