am just busting your chops meko, but install the damn thing already before I unleash Morgie on ya You dont want it to snow in Boston this time of the year
about lowering your car, yeah it can be tough if you live around messy roads...but yeah driveways and entrances are never to be taken straight on, you always take em at at angle...you might scrape a little here and there, but the car handles so goood (primary advantage) and the car looks better too....
There is always a tone from even lowest RPM which I love, it's unlike what I had on TL, tone only at high end. So casual driving is much more fun at low speed.
At idle, I hear a rumble even though I have an equal lenght header.
That rumble gets higher once the exhaust warms up.
At high rpm shiftings, the milisecond you left the gas pedal, these is some burp sound coming from the exhaust which I also love. You hear it for sure, even if you try to shift fast.
On highway, crusing has no drone at all, I am friggen amazed after TL
If you let off the gas on highway speed, you hear the exhaust or drone I should say too...
So, happy so far.
Anil, this car really has great balance. I know with coils, it will goto links, sway bars and then I will try to make all the calcs to keep the car in balance. Damping, weight, spring rates, and following with why this mm of sway bar and etc.
Plus I just daily this car.
Don't have time or money to throw on it for now. Especialy when stock suspension is pretty good. Mostly time is my concern and messing up things when I am not good at working on the car, well, if I had a garage and a second car, yeah... would go for it little by little but...
If I really want, I might to TRD springs and TRD sway bars. Lowers 1" at most I guess and gives better ride the stock they say. Unlike those other springs that gives a stiff ride on stock shocks.
---
Look, he is on coils, but I am still lower
But my car is lowest stock form as possible.
17" wheels with 235/40 tires Lower then stock tires
btw on lowering the car, am sure this car handles well from the factory...the S2000 and this and the mazda RX8, all 3 have about perfect balance...I just love spending your money, thats all
not sure how Boston roads are, but if its messy, I agree, keep it stock height for now
S2k doesn't know how to handle, it just slides
Boston roads are always messy but that doesn't matter. I should just leave the car if I can't dodge the potholes haha
It's the entrances or once in a week that bastid ramp which would come in front of me from nowhere for 100% sure.
Or trips to NY, NH and etc.
Basically if I had my own second car (for long trips) and a nice garage for BRZ. Lowering wouldn't be a problem.
By the way my dad has found a light green color Jag XJ, brown interior. Things might get serious
Thanks for all the IT stuff by the way, it helped. Boss replied them including those infos.
Me too man! Finally we are on the same page with him. I always wanted one of those old 2006 XJ, even for myself. Black one with those sport wheels it has.
But GS has to stay until next summer. It's lease, so yes we need more room.
I want Wrangler too sooo
I started to look for a house around 500k. 1 bedroom and 3 garage is possible.
Ohh. TL
They are still expensive dude. I did look at it and ended up saying, rather buy a stick shift TSX. The old ones.
But, meh, I don't want another slow car or a good mpg
my 2005 with 185K miles will fetch me 5-6K hahaha stock of course! If I sell the wheels/intake setup/full exhaust setup/suspension, that's the VALUE of the car hahahaha
..that 2012 is expensive...I know Carrie just listed hers for 30K...that thing is 2012 WDP Tech AWD and air suspension and a lot more mods (wheel/intake/exhaust/headlights/etc)...6 spd too
wait nevermind, Carrie's is a 2010 not a 2012! still its a good looking car!
I want to, not kidding, but just cant part with her...I looked at a 6MT Type S, it was modded and the price was reasonable, it would be like 4K out of my pocket if all goes to plan and I would be in a 2008 Type S 6MT with 70K miles as compared to 2005 TL 5AT with 185K miles...am tempted, I wont lie, but just cant part with my car...
that sounds really really aggressive, Mehmet...
you happy?
Hope you're well, my friend.
Thanks J.
Doing well man. Busy with work and other things.
I still haven't done my exterior detail to the car yet
Pretty happy but it's nothing like a v8 Mustang exhaust man
I say it needs to be louder until I hear my exhaust from outside. It's perfect outside and quiet inside the car.
But... still might get a front pipe to get some gains and make it louder.
Uploading new pics now
By the way, clutch line, rear subframe bushings and fluids aren't done yet
