I'm not a name brand tramp, but I've seen enough about the sh*tty quality from people I trust and replacement wheels not matching colors and their customer service being bad...

How the heck double for DD?
It slows me down and bothers me, because with single clutch I could rev match it perfectly, and so quick. Quick as in just hitting the clutch and taking off from it at that millisecond.
I guess, if you do it quick and not much of RPM difference in between as in just driving casual, not using double won't harm the syncros I guess.
Shifting got so good after the fluid swap, I have the stock shift knob back on, it's still so smooth in the mornings too
But my 3rd gear syncro when upshifting isn't great I believe. You feel it from the shift knob that it's trying to sync itself slowly.
Same with downshifting to 2nd. I have to use the force. Pretty strong force and hate it.
That's one reason why dropping to 2nd to slide the rear on turns bother me.
Sometimes I just don't even do it, because have to force that 2nd too hard

And I just calculated, that set up is perfect for what I am looking for.
28.4mm poke compared to stock.
XXRs I posted up there gives 28.9mm poke.
But for 17x9 +45, most I could run might be 255
Offset is small and wheel is wide. Might hit the suspension with 255+ tires.
Anyways, I would do it if it was 5x100 and just run 255s on them Jeremy.

Plus good for drifting too. If I take that 9" wheel, move it towards outside, say +25, it will increase handling but reduce sliding.

No sir...because it's not a SPACER...you'd need and ADAPTER which is basically a version 2 spacer that bolts onto the 5 x 100 lug pattern but then the spacer would have the studs sitting at 5 x 114 to fit the wheels.

Double clutching is really unnecessary. Your transmission has synchros which do the job for you. Technically you want to do it if you're skipping gears in a downshift (5th to 3rd) but I just heel toe to downshift and I don't skip gears.
About the only time I double clutch though is to downshift into 1st. It doesn't go in smoothly otherwise

Blip the gas + push the clutch + shift into 4th
That's double clutching, right?
I think it's just a habit of mine for normal DDing.
Of course, when you are making a turn at yellow, you blast it to the last moment and heel n toe to downshift since you kinda have to brake and downshift at the same time.
By the way, don't you guys love our TC/VSC for DD or canyon runs? I don't know for the stock wheel and tire set up but for my current set up, when I make a fast tight right turn, the VSC kicks in and straighten the ass pretty smoothly every time. I love it. LOL
Of course, that's no fun at the track, so I pedal dance it off. But for DDing, I usually just leave them all on.

Single clutch, blip the gas is perfect if you are at the spot where it should be.... as in could shift without clutch.

I never do heel and toe. Too hard in DD, plus my toe just can't friggen reach the pedal. Have to be in track and go harsh on the bish.
Single clutch + reduce gear if I have to.
If hard brake needed, keep it at the current gear, don't take it to N.

I always say damn that was a fast reaction from the computer. It's pretty good.
I am not planning on sliding it, otherwise would turn on those lights but because of the prius tires, it slides by itself when taking the corner pretty hard, and corrects itself.

It's actually pretty easy to slide it on the public road too. haha I have this favorite corner close to my place where I always turn off everything and mash it on 2nd. The rear just swings and you can easily correct it with some counter. AH THAT FEELS SO GOOD!
MEKO, don't worry about turning off the TC/VSC. You have to go to tracks to really learn the car. Don't do it on the public road.
This car is so easy to control it, especially with the stock wheels and tires. The rear slides in such a gentle fashion.
My friends who have both S2K and 86 say that it's so much easier to drive 86.

I do hold the left button and keep the 2 orange lights on + turnes off the Sport
Ok now that means traction won't go on after I pass 50kmh whatever.
But, when I slide the car, why does it try to correct itself?
That traction light flashes in middle of the RPM display.
And watch this, I only do single clutch and see how perfect RPM drops to where it should be. I got used to it but...

It caught me off guard last time I was in NC. We had just left Tylers apartment, the light leading to the main road turned yellow and I was going for it. I was second gear at about 15 mph, steady throttle, cut the corner, hit a bump in the road that unsettled the suspension and pitched the car about 50 degrees to the right, then snapped back to the left at about 30 degrees, then came back in line. Tyler was a little freaked out, but I wanted to do it again

Do you only have the amber TCS Off and VSC Off lights on the dash, or is the green Sport light on as well?
If the green sport light is on, the system is off. You have to hold the off button for three seconds.

Just hold down the left button for 2 seconds. If both amber lights are on, you are good.

No, it acts as a version 2 spacer specifically...you mentioned running a 5MM which can only be a version one and would do nothing for the wrong lug pattern.
