^^^ Well, the Corvette just turned 6 years old in mid-September....it has 38,000 on it.
For the C8, I really like the new Rapid Blue color! Instead of the traditional 10 colors, the C8 now comes in 12 colors. There is also the new Zeus Bronze that is a great color.

Guys, last weekend I was honored again (for the 4th time) to be the MC and DJ at Corvette FunFest at Mid America Motorworks in Effingham, Illinois.
While I was there, I had ACS Composite install these lower vents, which are usually found on the Z06 and Grand Sport. These are non-functional, but really change and improve the look of the car.
During FunFest, the Corsa Exhaust rep asked me if "he could use my Corvette for the weekend"!!!!! What he mean was, he wanted to use my car in his booth as the demo car. I have the full Corsa Extreme exhaust with their Double Helix X-pipe. He sold out of exhausts that weekend using my car as a demo so people could hear the exhaust. Here is the Stingray set up next to their booth!
I have replaced the Z51 badging that was originally where the new lower vent now is. This time, I went with smaller Z51 badging, but these are done in Carbon Fiber!

OK, the Carbon Flash (black metallic) trim on the new vents were bugging me. I'm having some caps made in Carbon Fiber. In the meantime, I added some Carbon Fiber trim to them......

KarKraze....congrats! Red IS the fastest color....
No C8 in my future yet, boys. I'm holding out for a Z06 C8, I think. The Type S is still running strong at 135,000.
In the meantime........
This is the cowling for the steering wheel. It gets installed next Wednesday.

I thought about it. I’m patiently waiting for NC1 NSX prices to come down well below $100k so I can snag one. OTOH, once C8s are a dime a dozen, I’m sure we’ll start seeing base models for $20-30k in 3-4 years...blows my mind to contemplate a mid-engined supercar for that little...

C8s will most definitely not be a dime a dozen
They'll hold their resale much better than previous gens

I think you'll see the price of them move north of mid 60s base.
Look at the GT-Rs.. remember when they were in the low 60s brand new.
Resale on them is still ridiculous.
You could have bought a new one and sold it for the same money today.
I think the C8s will be the same type of bird in regards to market value.
1k deposit

Anything over a base C8 is absolutely ridiculous

I’d be happy with a base + Z51, maybe in LT2 trim, with a front lift kit. That’s only $70k or so. Completely batshit crazy pricing for the performance. I don’t even want to imagine how crazy the Z06 and ZR1/Zora models are going to be. Chevy has hit a home run IMO.
#2752
Still one of the best looking C7s out there, Steven, even now with the generation coming to an end.

Depreciation will help...especially after Z06 and Zora are on the road. That’s what I’m waiting for.

I doubt Steven would sell this car
Probably wouldn't get much more with mods than a stock C7
I'd definitely part out to get any return on mods
