Damn Steven...
Originally, I was thinking maybe your balls (aka nuts) were the size of over ripe kumquats.
I now realize that they are much more akin to the size of heavily fertilized grapefruit.
Congrats, man...I am looking forward to your wheels. They will look so fucking sexy. I can't believe you didn't get CF wheels, but I'm glad you didn't...enough is enough. This is gonna be great.

Three Wheelin'

Well guys, hell has actually frozen over! I've really, really, really ordered wheels for the Stingray today.........here they are!
![](http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y512/stevenbell1957/2014%20C7%20Corvette/XO%201_zpsqdcyuwvb.jpg)
![](http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y512/stevenbell1957/2014%20C7%20Corvette/XO%202_zpsxl1ffjkk.jpg)
![](http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y512/stevenbell1957/2014%20C7%20Corvette/XO%203_zpstljxkxfw.jpg)
These are XO Wheels called Verona. They are specifically made for Corvette. They should arrive either Friday of this week or Monday of next week.
Also the custom painted hood liner is supposed to be finished tomorrow (Wednesday, August 26th) afternoon.
I don't have any word yet on the red seat belts. I tried to call the Vendor today......no answer, again...................

Hey Steven, does the company you bought from customize for other cars? That'd look nice under my hood. How well do they claim that paint holds up to engine heat?

Before they went on. These Verona's are one inch wider than OEM, so the OEM tires have a nice, mild stretch!

New wheels look great! I might be the minority, but I liked the stockies. I think the stock wheels in gloss black would have been tits with your mods.

I wouldn't do a drop. It's going to look better, but it's going to be a PITA to drive.. if you did a drop.. air suspension.. and that's if you don't have magnetic ride.

I'm sure there is a reliable way of dropping the car without destroying how it drives (without going for air suspension) and I'm sure there are some very knowledgeable Corvette experts who have done so and posted it on forums. $800 coil overs likely won't cut it.
There's a reason why $2000-$5000 coil overs exist...

Does that thing have a suspension option that will sit lower that isnt a downgrade to the suspension he's already got?
I agree on that wheel gap. But Id be more worried about performance than the gap.
Looks great man!! Love the black lip with red accent. Been seeing that a lot in a couple different scenes and really like it. Your car pulls it off well.
Id really love to see this car with black "chrome" wheels similar to what Maj just suggested. Match those stingray emblems black chrome and OMG.

Love them and so happy to see the chrome disappear. As for the drop, yea, it would look better but anyone that has driven a veto knows how the front plastic piece hits everything as a warning, can't image being lower.
Edit - don't know what it is but the car looks so exotic with the jack under it ha

Good morning guys-thanks for the kudos !!!!
The last 2 pictures is when the Stingray settled back down. It HAS been lowered on the stock bolts. This is a Z51 Stingray, so it DOES have magnetic ride control. So I don't know if it can be lowered anymore because of that. Other Corvettes you see that are lowered more are probably non-Z51's. Magnetic ride adjusts the ride stiffness but not the height.
Unfortunately, this car does not have a raising and lowering mechanism (a la Lamborghini).
I'm glad you guys like this. It's going to take some getting used to-not as much bling!
