instead of the spacers, get the springs....its pointless (IMO) to put spacers on a 80K car...

you gotta mod a 80,000 car like a 80,000 car and not like a beater!

Get some springs, and then do not get anything at all....wait till your current tires wear out, sell the stock wheels, get new wheels with some fresh rubber on em :slurp:

It does look awesome, Steven.
What are your fears with a little 1" drop for the corvette, Steve? Maybe we can help assuage...sounds like you won't lose your magnetic ride and it would really set the car off, visually. I would certainly suggest a little lower to see what kind of actual clearance you have to measure and THEN order your spacers.

Car looks nice steven. Don't let ppl on here bully you into modding car how they want it.

I personally like Carbon fiber, but only when it removes weight. I would avoid spacers and just buy wheels that fit.

A mild drop would be fine, but nothing extreme.

Looking good, SB! Those sidemarkers look like a sweet touch that would set off the car in person.

^^^^ Thanks Aman-I don't know why Chevrolet didn't do this OEM. They have just 2 small LED's in that entire side marker, so it looked really stupid.

Guys, I'm not ready to order wheels yet. I'm open to the idea, but haven't really seen wheels that will be unique and set the car off without spending thousands of dollars.

So for now, spacers have been ordered. We'll see how they look.....

As far as a drop, the people at the dealership (service writers and the Corvette technician who exclusively works on my Stingray), there is concern about the Magnetic Ride control if it's lowered more. I have no plans for that as of now. If a better solution comes up, just know I'll definitely look at it.

+1 with Ross...

I love the fact that all your trim pieces match...the dry CF look, the CF color/shade matches, most of the weave pattern match and are flowing in the same direction...

Well done buddy, and for once, even I didnt know you were buying this hahaha...was a very pleasant surprise brother!

We just finished the spacers! Subtle but nice...it's only 109 degrees (Heat Index) here today, so she hasn't been out of the garage. I'll get better pictures, but I promised you these.....

Maybe I missed it, but what are the spacer specs? I'm running 5mm spaces all around on my R/T.
