Hey guys!
My car was a Cover Baby on CorvetteWeb.com.
Go to www.CorvetteWeb.com. If you click on the picture of my Stingray, it will take you to the Table of Contents. From there, in the upper left hand corner, click on the story "Rock n Roll C7"
Enjoy!

Nicely done, Steven...read the article. I knew most of the stuff, but it was fun re-reading about my friend anyway.
The picture was just a picture for me and not a link...
so if anyone is inclined:
Corvette Web Magazine

Very cool! I love the 90's GSs. If I were to pick up an entry level Vette to hold onto for investment reasons it'd either be a 90s GS or ZR1. It's insane how affordable they are *right now*.

Well, I got an update on the red seat belts....the guy lives and works in Concord, Ontario (a suburb of Toronto). The seat belts didn't clear customs, so he and his wife are coming into Buffalo to do Christmas shopping. He'll mail them at that time. Here what they will look like (from a C6 Corvette)......
In the mean time, another small mod for you. This Summer, I attended FunFest at Mid America Motorworks in Effingham, IL. I bought this C7 Crossed Flags patch. Originally, I was going to put it on a jacket, but I've added it to the trunk mat (under the Stingray logo).

I've been wondering for the longest time what happened to the red seatbelts. Glad they got sorted out; I think they'll look bomb ass when you get them installed.
I don't post much anymore, just lurk for the most part. But congrats on the feature and the new pics look great!

Thanks guys! The guy called today and said they're coming into the US (to Buffalo) to go shopping for Black Friday. He'll send them to me via the UPS Store from Buffalo.

^^^ Jeremy, he didn't say why. When I talked to him yesterday, he's still committed to sending me these seat belts without a credit card (which I find strange).
He knows I'm not going anywhere, so I hope he goes to Buffalo FAST!

^^^^ Yes....
1. Halltech cold air intake
2. aFe Power throttle body spacer
3. Corsa Extreme exhaust with Double Helix X-pipe. (I know this isn't an "engine mod", but attributes to more horsepower)

Been a while since I visited your thread, car looks awesome. Really looking forward to seeing the red seat belts.
Caravaggio Corvette is very close to where I live, seen some really nice work from him on a few Vettes.

^^^ Thanks KK!
The owner of Caravaggio Corvettes, John, has said he has had trouble shipping the seat belts to the US. He told me Customs issues have held them up.
It's been incredibly frustrating because I ordered these seat belts in June/July timeframe. I keep getting a lot of excuses from John. I don't know what to do, at this point. I've even tried to give him a credit card in hopes of getting him more motivated to get them to me. He wouldn't take my credit card, so I don't know whether to give up or just wait for them to magically appear at my door.

No one makes them-as of yet.
There are plenty of people who make different color seat belts. Just not ones for the C7 yet.

Got a call from him today....he said that the seat belts are a safety issue and are looked at very carefully.
He has his NAFTA paperwork completed and updated. They are loading new software on his computer on Christmas Eve which is supposed to speed up the process and get items delivered to America quicker and easier.
He said he will be overnighting them to me right after the new year.......the wait continues.

FINALLY........an update!
Well, I finally have news.....after 10 months of waiting for these damn red seat belts, I actually have a tracking number!
They were shipped on Friday (UPS Ground). They are supposed to arrive this Thursday. The plan is get the Corvette to the dealership first thing Friday morning for installation.
I had damn near given up on this project. It looks like it will FINALLY come to fruition.
