after 2 years I was ready to get rid of the gold finish on my work vs-xx. ive always liked the brushed look on the bbs lm's. so I got the gold striped and the brushed look machined on my faces clear coated over. don't mind my front lip I hit a tire on highway recently. I haven't dropped it off to get fixed yet.

Both look great, but I've long been a fan of BBS (and similar styles)
The brushed look suits it well.

thanks.
I did too but after that exact setup on my last car (my CL type-s) and having it for 2 years on this car I was ready for a change.
yea ive always been a fan of the bbs brushed look. im really glad at the outcome after doing it. the classic red on silver always looks good.

The new finish looks great. I love a good brushed wheel finish.
That said I loved the gold on red. It is always a classic look. I understand getting tired of a wheel color though.

made some changes to the rear of my car. I had the 02 rear valance and swapped to the downforce rear gt diffuser. since my rear exhaust is exposed now I had my fabricator modify it to center exit. I think it looks more aggressive now
before with the stock 02 valance
[
after with gt diffuser and exposed exhaust
after with exhaust modified to center exit. in person you can really see the exhaust details under the car a lot. I love it.

I've been quiet for a while but this NSX build seems like it always pulls me back in when I think im done. I got a paint job a few years ago when I got my wide body and I've hated the paint job ever since I got it. it was one of those situations were you get a very good deal and it ends up being what you paid for. So I went out all and got the car stripped to bare metal to get every last bit of that crappy job off my car. I'm hoping my paint is done in time next month for NSXPO being held in Atlanta next. im keeping my fingers crossed. while I've been waiting all these months an itch for a new daily was eating at me and on a whim last weekend I picked up a 2021 TLX A-Spec. I love this car so far. i just ordered wheels for it and working on getting the OEM brembo's off the type-s model. here's a link for it in there TLX section on my build, stance acquired v3.0:

Damn man. Sorry you have to redo you paint job like that. I bet it will look fantastic though after it is done.
Wish I was able to get to Expo this year with it being so close but have other engagements to attend that weekend. Should be a good time down there though.

Hope you get to go. That would be cool to go home and also get to go to NSXPO at the same time.
Next year will be back in the center of the country. I know they have narrowed it down but nothing chosen just yet. I doubt it will be somewhere I will be willing to road trip to though.

Don’t mind my typos in my last reply lol. I was multitasking at the time lol. But yea I just got stationed in DC so I’m sure I won’t be willing to travel to the location next year.

Oh dang didn't realize the car was still in Cali. Was it already there or did you ship it out there for the paint job?

Yea most people don’t realize you can disassemble an NSX down to the chassis like that. That made it so much easier when I went widebody. So cutting involved.

I can’t believe I finally got to see this godly NSX in person at NSXPO a few weeks ago, and to meet the man, the myth, the legend, in person. What an awesome car.

Thanks a lot. It just barely made it in time. It got delivered a day before it started. Here’s a YouTube vid recap of the event. 108 NSX’s showed up. It was a fun 4 days.

It was great meeting you after all these years talking online.
